THOMPSON TEE Men's Sweatproof Undershirt - Rayon Blend V Neck - Slim Fit - with Sweat Pads

Bought for a full day assessment centre job interview. As recommended I purchased 1 size down from my usual tshirt size and this was the correct choice. This undershirt should be skin tight yet still comfortable which it was. I'm somebody who has always suffered from hypohydrosis. I ALWAYS take a jacket or coat with me which I use to cover up sweat, and hide my embarrassment, but this ultimately makes the problem worse. For this job interview though, I had to wear a smart office shirt without a jacket (company dress code). Within 30 minutes I would usually have underarm sweat marks and back sweat showing through the shirt as large wet patches. With this undershirt on, absolutely NOTHING!! Dry throughout the entire day! As there is no padding on the back (just underarms), I worried that my back would still be vulnerable, however the 95% bamboo material did an excellent job of absorption, not allowing any moisture to break through to my outer officewear. To emphasise, this was in the U.K. on the hottest day in over 40 years (35°c), in an office block without air conditioning, doing team-building tasks that required physical hard work. After the team-building task, all candidates were sweating profusely from the face, including me, however I was one of the few without a mark on my shirt. This allowed me to stay calm and focus on the interview, without worrying about embarrising marks I would usually have had on my shirt. I did well at the interview and this product completely improved my confidence on the day. As someone that has uncontrollable sweat on even cold days, the fact this undershirt did its job in much hotter conditions and in a stressful situation, is nothing short of a miracle! After a short while of wearing the shirt, I didn't really notice I had it on; this is also why it's important that the undershirt is not a lose fit, it should be skin tight but not uncomfortable. The shirt is unnoticebale to others looking at you, there's nothing to suggest you are wearing anything other than an office shirt by itself. If the idea of wearing formal shirts and certain colours fills you with dread, give this a try. It's expensive yes, but if you suffer from hypohydrosis, it's a small price to pay to get your confidence back. I paid for this product myself and have written this review as an unbiased reaction to my experience with the undershirt.

This is perfect, had this for 2 years now and it's still going strong, not a drop of sweat shows through this thing, I bought this for the same reason as everyone else which is excessive sweating and embarrassing wet patches showing through my shirt, I work in a place that is very hot even during the middle of winter, I tried a few different methods to help with it, antiperspirants did nothing, sweat absorbent pads didn't last long, but then I discovered this and it has finally solved my problem

Wow! bought this for work as I have hyperhidrosis in my armpits and being summer my shirts would be terribly soaked before I'd even reach the office. Never nice. Saw this in a review and bought it, tried it on with a pink shirt the day after it arrived and wow! I was impressed. The underarm pads were soaked by the end of the day but not a drop made it through to the shirt! I've so far washed and worn this t-shirt everyday and it's survived about 10 washes so far, that's with Tumble drying on a low heat each night. Very stretchy and as others said get a size smaller than your usual size so it is snug. As can be seen in the model photo there is extra material, I think this is so even the most rotund of gentlemen has enough to go over the spare tyre :D It's been a god send especially in this 30 deg C heat we've been having! Can't recommend this enough! :)

As suggested in other reviews I ordered a few sizes down (i'm a 41 chest, slim fit in most things and went for the small). Fits fine, and barely noticeable under by shirts. Worn on both nights out under casual shirts, and under office attire and works well in both situations. Nothing comes through anymore, which was a constant worry for me in the past. Would highly recommend. I've only washed a few times so far however I've experienced no shrinkage really, and no discolouring yet. I think these are worth it so much i'm ordering another set! Firstly I strongly believe this item is excellent. I myself struggle with perspiration in stressful situations (which I have many!). The material of this product is elasticated and therefore contours and fits to the shape of your body. The pads under the arms are noticeable at first however after the first few wears you don't notice it's there. The pads/t-shirt is easy to wash and dries relatively quickly. I did take everyone's advice and purchase a size smaller than normal - if you are reading this before buying. I would recommend doing this as the item is tight fitting and can be very loose if you don't get the right size. So I guess everyone is wondering why I only gave 4 stars? My reason is simple - I have been wearing the product regularly for around a month now and the pads under the arms have started to turn pink on the inside of the t-shirt. Now this isn't a big deal for me however I would have assumed that as the product is designed to deal with sweat this wouldn't have happened. Now I'm sure your thinking - it must be your deodorant - however no it unfortunately isn't. I use a completely 100% mark free (clinically proven) deodorant which has never marked any of my shirts before. I can only put this down to a slight flaw in the design of the product. Therefore rendering it to me 4 stars. I was not paid or endorsed for this review - I paid for the product and thought it would be useful to have a real review for everyone to understand. Great product did exactly as advertised, you still sweat but it’s completely contained and dries quickly. I brought one to try then 2 more after one use! just waiting for the right size to become available in grey and black and I will buy them too! I wear a large and brought a large fits great nice length to.

Great product, does the job well and I’ve had some for a couple of years. I would buy more but unfortunately there is never any stock of beige. It seems the provider cannot manage stock control. And no, I won’t pay stupid money to have them sent from USA.

it's really good to stop the sweat coming out as I've got Hyperhidrosis and after trying all antiperspirant and feeling hopeless this is like a miracle for me. Used it during holiday and I was so happy as it boosted my confidence. Only thing I've got complaint is the sleeves are big big and show so have to roll them and for tshirts with large neck area it shows so have to pull it towards sides to hide it. If they can crop the sleeves about 1inch and the neck area 1.5 inch in radius it would be perfect also the stains aren't going anywhere from the inside after several washes.

Fits tight enough so you can't see under a dress shirt, absorbs well - wouldn't have anything different.

Excellent product, especially for someone like me. Undershirt is a very tight/Under Armour like shirt that clings to your body and leaves no trace to whatever you put over it (polos, dress shirts, even t-shirts). The deep V-neck hides the fact you're even wearing an undershirt at all 99% of the time. REALLY will trap the sweat from showing through your clothes, even in my case which happens to be south Florida. You will look dry like a normal human being by the end of the day guaranteed. THAT BEING SAID my one complaint that isn't really a complaint would be that it is hot to wear. Obviously it should be... you're trapping all the sweat underneath it. It's just kind of a strange feeling to get used to feeling the wet sweat clung underneath a skintight layer of shirt with your top shirt looking completely dry and normal. Highly recommend

Se trata de una camiseta con refuerzos en la parte de las axilas que absorbe el sudor e impide que pase a la camisa que llevas por encima. Obviamente seguirás sudando con ella puesta pero te evita que la camisa se vea sudada así como el tener que estar lavándola continuamente. El tejido es de fibra de bambú, muy elástico y transpirable, pero más caro que el de algodón. En cuanto a la talla pedí la M, que es la talla que uso normalmente, y queda perfectamente.
