It works but I wish it had better connectors. Also it’s aluminum coated wires. The actual connection between the male and female fittings wasn’t the best, I was expecting it to kinda click in but it did not.

Parts work very well. Nice and tight and lock together nicely.

This plug is easy to install. Anyone with a pair of pliers can connect it to the existing wiring and enjoy the quick detach ability for removing your trolling motor whenever you need.

My plug started failing after years of getting put in and pulled out, kicked, stepped on, and abused. So with some research I seen this part and ordered it and it works great!!! Locks in as shown in video and to unlock lift female connection door and pull this male plug out, great feature!! And the butt connectors are heat shrinkable I got a new trolling motor with a quick release mounting bracket which makes removing my trolling motor very easy. My old motor was wired directly to a switch and the battery, which would have been a pain when removing the new motor. I installed this in the boat, using the same hole the original wires were run through, just modifying it slightly. Excellent trolling Motor Plug and Receptacle Set and wired that to the motor. Now it's plug in and go, or unplug and remove motor, very easy, and much more secure storing the trolling motor indoors out of the elements, not to mention more secure. Would buy again and recommend!!
