This is only slightly more expensive than many similar items - yet is much more solid and sturdy then you would expect. In fact the documentation mentions a 26-27 stone load and you would certainly believe it!The legs and frame are very tough and the rubber feet are substantial and give a very firm grip to the stool. The contoured mats on the steps are also very good at giving you stability, when you climb up.I tried it straight away to put up some curtains and it felt very secure and made this kind of everyday job, much easier. So, there are many jobs where you can't quite reach, but don't want the hassle of getting a ladder out and carrying it around - which is where this comes in as time-saving, but safe.An ideal solution for those household jobs where you want to save time, but not compromise on safety. It also looks quite smart - highly recommended.

The steps are solid and feel very safe - no rocking, and easy to open up. When locked into place they feel rock solid and the handle at the top is steadying. Just what I wanted for reaching up into high storage cupboards and cleaning tops of doors etc. Good value for money too.

A very useful product. Strong and safe to stand on but be aware that it is heavy to carry about.

Good stepstool. Once I had worked out how to open it as it's different to my last one, which my husband covered with paint. It is easy to move and easy to open now. Sturdy and strong, very useful. I'm on the shorter side!!!

I bought this after reading other positive reviews here. I am no longer in the first flush of youth and usually feel uneasy getting up onto steps. However, I am very pleased with these and feel confident on them. They are slightly heavy to carry around, but I tend to keep them in the kitchen where I use them most for reaching items on high shelves. I would definitely recommend these steps to anyone who has similar worries about being unsteady on stepladders.

products arrived, legs do not balance, therefore the stepstool was wobbling about on the floor. the product was not well made at all and I've since returned it to Amazon. Why can't the Brits made something a bit more decent!!

Been using this several times a week for a few moths now, has stood the test of time, a bit heavy to move about but easy to fold down, nice and sturdy

ARRIVED WELL WRAPPED AND PROMPTLY AS STATED.VERY GOOD QUALITY AND HAVE BEEN USED MOST DAYS, VERY SATISFIED WITH THE DESIGN AND THE FACT IT HAS HEALTH AND SAFETY FEATURES, I FEEL VERY SAFE WHEN USING THE STEPS, WHEN JUST SITTING FOR FIVE MINUTES THEY ARE VERY CONVENIENT.
