UPDATE: After printing out instructions on the internet for a similar product - this was actually easy to install and works great - so upgrading to 4 stars. If they included instructions, it would be a 5-star product. NO INSTRUCTIONS: For Serious DIY'ers only that can figure it out for yourself. Product itself seem very good. The product itself looks fine... but it arrived just dumped into a long box without packing materials, so every part was busted out of its packing and loose in the box.... a huge pile of hardware and ZERO INSTRUCTIONS or INVENTORY LIST to tell if I have everything I need to install - if I can figure out how to put it together. I looked in the questions and comments and apparently this is a common problem with this company. Not sure why they don't put a link to pdf instructions or their own installation video. Looks similar enough to competitors products that I can have my handyman figure it out...

Great quality and strength. These are made of good materials and they look and work well, so I bought a second set for much heavier barn doors that I'm making to match the ones I made for my bbg. I agree with others, the instructions could use better translation. But you can figure it out.

Description states made of steel, that is FALSE! The track and roller brackets are made of aluminum.... I knew something was up when I retrieved the package from my front door as the box was much lighter than expected. Only time will tell if it will hold up to gravity.

We bought the double rail to install two 30" x 48" shutters my father in law made. The rail is perfect, was very inexpensive compared to big box stores. It looks great and it didn't take long for it to be installed. We decided to add a 1" x 6" board to wall first and then attach the rail. Didn't need for anything other than the fact I think it looks better. Caution, the part that attaches to your door (on the pulley like hanger) is about 2 inches wide but the pulley/roller is more like three inches, so you need to make sure the design of your door/shutter allows for that so your doors/shutters will completely come together when closed. In spite of reading this warning in another review, we messed up and had to add that extra piece of wood you see under the hangers in the middle. Still turned out fine and I love my new shutters. Goal is to try and cut down on heat in office during AZ summers.

Purchased the 10 foot product which comes in 3 units to build the 10 foot bar. The design flaw is the way the 3 units are “interlocked” together, not bracketed. They vibrate loose with use of door. Product is heavy duty. It is painted metal which scratches easy.
