I recommend this item to anyone anybody has a GY6 motor 50cc 49 of 150 I tell you what you need them the best one you can get I bought one from another website it was garbage like I said before I recommend it for a GY6 Motors

Makes the belt hit starter gear at full rpm and also starting bike somthings not right put stock back on instead

Probably a good product. Seemed to be good materials and close to stock. But its very important to follow instructions to a T. I reinstalled this thing so many times and couldn’t get it to work because i wasn’t putting the smooth cylinder on. So i ended up just putting the oem variator with the new weights. I had an extra washer at the end but didnt think much of it. BIG MISTAKE my whole cvt exploded on the highway. Apparently that one washer is very important for friction resistance and the plastic plate of the varator melted off leading to catastrophic failure at 8000rpm. My varator sawed thru my crankshaft and effectively totaled my under 4000mile engine.
