Works great, good delivery
this item was recommended by another jewelry maker and she's right, it's a good hammer to offer a bit of hardening to sterling silver. Good quality, easy to hold and use.

Exceeded expectations
The product was well-made. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with two extra end pieces one for each end. It’s nice when products exceed your expectations.

Does the job with no damage.
I use this at the gun range. Sometimes after firing a shell it will expand and does not eject from the revolver (.22) cylinder. A slight tap with this hammer frees the shell, does not damage the firearm and that’s what I purchased it for.

Great but…
Great hammer but the ends break easily

It’s an eight dollar hammer.
If you’re looking for something to drive tent stakes, keep looking. It’s an eight dollar hammer. I bought mine, to occasionally adjust some gun sights. Very occasionally. For that purpose, it’s fine. If you need a hammer for heavier use, or to make your living with it, this isn’t the hammer for you. I gave it 5 stars, because I understand it’s limitations and don’t expect any more out of it. It does come with extra hammer faces, which is nice. Again, if you don’t expect too much out of it, you’ll be happy with it.

Ehh
I got my hammer today for the money I’d say it’s decent and will get the job done. However the hole for the hammer head on one side is not centered which leaves a sharp edge so if you had to be close to something it may scratch the object. Also the handle was torn just like a piece about 1/4 inch along the top. This is just a sample of one so it may just be a fluke. Other than that the heads feel to be similar with the black head being barely harder. In conclusion if you want something to be perfect I’d say spend a little more money but if your like me and will probably rarely use it and don’t care if it’s not perfect then this is your hammer.

Didn't come as advertised
When they say jewelers metal mallet they mean the shaft is metal not either of the heads. For the price, it did the job I asked it to. The wording in the title could be better as I thought this came with a swappable metal head as well; lots of these little mallets come with swappable and replaceable heads usually a rubber, nylon, brass, and steel. If one gets worn out (usually the soft brass one when your striking a harder metal but trying not to mar it), you're able to replace it.
