These things work great
I just installed a Shelter tube which came with 2 different types of hold down, neither of which worked because of the rocky ground. These Vasgor 16" anchors went right in and really bite the ground. These things aren't going anywhere.

Easy to use
Worked as described. Love being able to drill these in the ground vs by hand.

Very strong. Eye hook unscrews
This ground screw is INTENSE and perfect for a deep grab in the ground. You can unscrew the eyehook portion and use a drill with a square bit to drive it in. Then you can screw the eyehook back in and attach a rope or clip to hold tight. Very useful. The screw portion is wide and sharp. It is great for the ground but I do not think it would go well into wood or anything more solid without a pilot hole.

Deterrent
I wish that it was all one connected piece. The top loop screws onto the spiral rod that gets imbedded into the ground. Does the job.

Decent quality
This is decent quality ground anchors set. I would like the spiral to be wider, but it is okay. I have not noticed any rust anywhere like with some other brands I got so it is good in that department. I do question welding job and why the spiral wings are not welded to the stake all the way and only spot welded, but it is what it is. They did work and seemed relatively sturdy put in the ground. I think they would work fine and if I get any issues during more use I will come back to update this review.

Useful Ground Anchors
These are potentially for many uses, although I am using them to hold down or as an anchor for a wire antenna (end-fed half wave, 136 feet) strung off the house. I needed a method to anchor the end of the wire antenna after I brought it off a downspout using a length of electrically insulated paracord. The anchors were partially twisted into the ground using a screwdriver as leverage and then I pounded them further into the hard ground using a steel hammer. I was impressed that the loop on top did not deform and held its shape during the hammering. I used a length of paracord to attach the end of the wire to the anchor to maintain electrical insulation. We have tremendous wind here in NW Wyoming at 5600 feet and so far, the ground anchors are holding after several bouts of 60+ mph wind events.

Just ok
Did not come with adapter, but didn’t find out until I was out at the site, so had to go back and get one. Not a huge deal but description said it should come with adapter

Easy to install
I used my impact driver to put then in the ground, and it worked out great. My ground was dry so I soaked the spot where the auger was to go. Came back the next day and had no problem installing the augers. They are really stout. Good product.
