Hotpoint Fan Oven Heater Element. Genuine part number C00084399

Item was slightly different to the part in my oven (which had double terminals at the ends of the prongs) seller confirmed this would still fit and item would be the same as a one from hotpoint spares, which I did order as I was unsure and wanted my oven working before xmas and as advised it was exactly the same and works perfectly well.

The element is ever so slightly different to the original in that there are two connectors at each end of the element. This doesn't matter though as the oven's spade connectors fit just fine. It is also slightly thicker than the original - if this is a good thing I have no idea! Anyway, it took just five minutes to fit and my oven works again. For reference my oven is a Hotpoint HARE60K if that helps anyone. Unrelated to this product but I'm still a bit miffed that the original element packed in after just three years, at least at £14 it's a nice cheap repair.

Was a bit nervous at first because as others have already noted it looks different to the original as it has double prongs.I followed the advice of others and used only one prong for the live and neutral wires and it works perfectly.I've taken 1 star off as it would be useful if there was a note accompanying the item informing customers of this as I was ready to return it, thinking the wrong item had been despatched.

If I can fit it without the help of my husband or adult sons, just by watching an internet video of how to change a cooker element,then anyone can. Payed £21.99 instead of a new cooker which would of been £400/500. Arrived quicker than estimated so I was back to cooking instead of eating out which was tthe only downside ;)

First time I've had to replace the element so didn't know what to expect but it did the job perfectly.

Great item, seems genuine and was an easy fit in my Hotpoint oven.

Brand new genuine part as advertised. Fitting to Hotpoint HAE90K was a breeze & saved plenty of money on calling an engineer. Please note though that you should at least be competent with electrics to attempt yourself.

Simple to install, exactly as original and everything fits. Working great.
