Is this product uv resistant? How does it last being out in the elements?

Not sure how UV resiatant. Certainly other black plastic I have had has lasted some years. I will have to wait and see

could this be possibly used as a pond liner?

I don't think so... Did not seem thick or robust enough and it did deteriorate in condition after approx a year possibly due to sunlight
