Easy to change it out in my Indiana EZPass account. They charge $15 to register it and $1.50/month whether you use it or not. But the tolls are about ½ of what you would pay without it and you don't have to stop as you enter and leave each toll road. If you are doing a replacement, make sure you order a transponder for the state you have your account with. This system is taking over more and more of the toll roads etc. in the country. All your billing goes back through one account and Indiana (were our account is) pulls $ from your credit card to keep a small positive balance in your account. So for New Jersey, it would only be able to route transactions/tolls through the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (ezpassnj.com) and your account there whereas this transponder is from the Indiana Toll Road (IndianaTollRoad.org) and you would have an account there for this transponder. The agency links with the transponder. **Q: Can I use this on a Motorhome** A: I believe the answer is yes and no - yes meaning if your RV is a 2-axle and the windshield will allow proper mounting and reading of the transponder. The answer is no because of the windshield issue - there are "bumper" transponders specifically for these types of situations.
