**Q: Are they waterproof**
A: Yes they are waterproof on paper especially with watercolor and ink wash.  Let them cure for 15 minutes, and that depends on the paper.  Always experiment.

**Q: will these smear when liquid varnish is applied over them?**
A: This would depend on what type of varnish you are using and the surface you have inked on.  What liquid varnish are you using?  Are you inking on to of a painting?  If so, is it an acrylic painting?  Please tell me what you are doing?

**Q: How is the quality in comparison to micron, copic or faber castell?**
A: it is pretty close...still the tips thmselves ..May be slightly more irregular but darn good pen

**Q: Are these markers alcohol-resistant? will they smudge when drawn over with copic/ohuhu/alcohol-based markers?**
A: Like all acrylic based inks, they take time to cure which is about 24 hours but it also depends on the absorbency of the surface.  Therefore is is recommended that you evaluate the pen and the surface using an alcohol marker.  You can also reverse the process and do you inking after the application of the alcohol-based marker.
