Perfect fit; here is how I installed it
This replacement belt was a perfect fit for my old Technics turntable. Since there were no instructions, I will share how I did a successful installation. First, anchor the tone arm in its cradle so it won't get loose while you are working. Then, remove the rubber mat from the top of the platter (the part your LP record rests on when you play it). Lift the platter off the spindle. There are cutouts in the platter to give you a gripping point. Remove the old broken belt and clean up as needed. Note the capstan (the small turning thing that looks like a spool for sewing thread, only much smaller). It is located at about 8:00 o'clock on the turntable housing. Place the platter upside down and gently stretch the new drive belt over the inner rounded surface. Go all around the platter and make sure that the new belt is equally distant from the top and the bottom of the platter's rounded surface. At one of the points where there is a cutout in the platter, gently pull the new belt away from the platter and insert a short pencil, wood dowel, or piece of tubing between the platter and the new belt. Your pencil or whatever should not protrude below the bottom of the platter. Replace the platter on the spindle, and use your pencil or whatever to gently stretch the new drive belt so that it goes around the capstan, which is the thing that will make the platter rotate at the correct speed. Make sure that the new drive belt is centered on the capstan. If you think of the capstan as a spool, the drive belt goes where the sewing thread would go. Release the tone arm, put on a record, and give it a try. Mine worked fine on the first try. My apologies for giving this report in such detail. I tend to need all the help I can get on some of these repair jobs!

If it says it will fit, it will!
We ordered this belt for our retro Technics record player, from the early 1980's, that we are no where near ready to give up. It arrived within 3 days, and was packaged well. This belt is basically a very large rubber band that turns the entire turntable. It came with directions that were very clear, but because I am very illiterate when it comes to electronics and because my husband loves his vintage stereo more than ME, we found a YouTube video that told us how to install it. We had the belt on and we were rockin' The Stones within 10 minutes! It fit perfectly, just like they said it would. I would recommend this belt. The price was certainly right, and it was very quick in being delivered.

Excellent
After nearly 30 years of being boxed up in the garage with my old records, my Technics turntable is spinning hits again. This belt fit and installed fine on a SL-B5. The turntable came to life with just this belt. Took me back to 1978. Sure-nuf not giving up my mp3 library but playing a classic record every now and then is a fun trip back to simpler times.

Good
Got the turn table working again, but wasn't the initial problem. So, don't know how well it actually works.

New belt
Good belt replacement for technics turntable. Belt seems to be slightly heavier than original or mine really needed to be replaced. Simple change with no issues.
