Princeton Select Artiste, Series 3750, Paint Brush for Acrylic, Watercolor and Oil, Set of 4

My typical medium is pencils, but recently I've been wanting to get into watercolor and ink. After looking around, I settled on this set (as well as some individual brushes) to start out with.I'm far from a skilled painter, but I use these brushes more than others in my small collection. They hold a good amount of fluid and put the paint down wonderfully. The handle length allows for a lot of flexibility with how you hold the brushes, which is nice to experiment with. The light color of the bristles is really nice when washing them; it's easy to tell if there is still paint or ink in them so I don't accidentally contaminate my ink colors. The different sizes are great for testing out your preferences while also allowing you to do some fiber details and larger washes.I've tried a couple of other, similar brushes from subscription boxes, but I keep coming back to these because of the quality and ease of cleaning. If you're starting out, you'll want to get some other types to supplement these, but they're a solid starting point when learning the basics.

This Princeton flat brush set is just what I needed to have a range of flat brush sizes. Can’t go wrong with Princeton brushes, they are the best and reasonably priced.

These are nice brushes. I use them for acrylic painting.

I bought these brushes to paint a denim jacket. This was my first project and the brushes were awesome. This set had nearly every kind I needed. I painted with acrylic with fabric medium mixed in, and these brushes were perfect. Brushes were easy to use, held their shape beautifully and were easily cleaned at the end of each session. Highly recommend.

I have ordered these brushes before and I have not been disappointed. I use them in my urban sketching pak and they are great for watercolor work.

I use these brushes for my watercolor paints and I have also purchased a couple of sets for acrylic painting! They are sturdy brushes and well made! I have never had a bad brush in any of the sets I've bought! Also I have never had any of the hairs fall out while painting!

These are fairly decent brushes for beginners, but were not the quality I had hoped. I bought them somewhat recklessly as they were the size and shape I needed. I returned them.
