The only harness my dog will use without an issue. We’ve been using these for about 8 years . Would never change as she’s happy with it.

I've had these now for a year. I've had a small and now 2 medium harnesses for my cavapoo. I feel I can give a good opinion on the quality and longevity of this harness. Fit: I would say it is true to size. You can adjust the strap around the body but the hole for the head is fixed in size. Material: Quick drying and durable polyester mesh. Very breathable. I put it into a laundry bag and into the washing machine and it hasn't shrunk or frayed despite many washes. Application: Easy for a harness. I usually take it apart and slip the hole over the head and run the other straps under his front legs and body and clip it together then. 30 seconds. It is secure and the stainless steel ring is strong and readily accessible. Downsides: On pulling too hard, the chest piece impinges on his trachea(windpipe) and he wheezes a bit. Hasn't stopped the fella though. All in all, well recommended.

Because of her behaviour, I need to keep a house-line (training lead) on my Poochon so that I can control her more easily when training. For this reason I looked for a harness that could be worn all day, without causing her discomfort. This harness fits the bill as it is light and comfy and doesn't trouble her at all. It is strong enough for me to leave it on her and take her out for walks with her lead attached, even though she excitedly 'pulls' for the majority of her walk and so quite a bit of strain is put on this harness! Over many years of dog ownership, I have found the Ancol range of collars and harnesses to be strong and reliable with robust clasps.

I used to think that these types of harness' were for more bigger stronger 'solid' dogs like staffys. How wrong was I? Alongside a 5m extendable lead it has completely revolutionised 'walks' with my older 12 y/o Jack Russell ('old dogs & new tricks'?) Much more comfort for my dog when walking, with or without a lead attached. Easy to control / 'grab hold of' and makes it quicker to attach a lead. Definitly less sounding like she's choking as from using a normal collar when on a lead. Can be a bit fiddly when putting on a very excited dog ready for a walk, but that probably says more about my owner / training skills over the harness. The need for the correct size for your dog is a necessaity (even with the adjustable straps): too small and it can chaff under the dog's armpits, too big and the bagginess affects / annoys your dog. My dog is a small 'slight' Jack Russell about 6kgs in weight (if that helps?): the small size harness is about right for her size. The material is soft, breathable and washable: as it can start to smell 'doggy', expectedly, after being out in the rain / dirty / wet conditions. I wouldn't be without one.

This is the best harness I've found for my terrier. It fits well and does not rub 'under the arms' or over the back like others we've tried. It's easy to clean and quick to dry. The mesh means he doesn't sweat. I was dubious about trying this type as I thought it would be flimsy and quickly pull apart with the battering we were likely to give it but the stitching is really strong and the mesh seems very sturdy. Also the clasp fits really secure so I am totally happy and confident when we are out. Our terrier has a 50cm chest and this fits a treat with plenty of adjustment if needed.

The Medium size fits my 9.5kg Shih Tzu perfectly, the clasp has a nice solid clip to it, very lightweight but sturdy overall.

Acheté pour un chien qui avait perdu deux colliers en peu de temps. ce harnais est la solution. Normalement je ne lui en mets que pour les promenades ( plus sûr ) mais ne le laisse pas parce qu' c'est inconfortable à porter tout le temps. Pas avec avec celui-ci, aucun souci, plus besoin de changer, il est souple et non contraignant. En plus il a des bandes réfléchissantes.
