Udupi, Jaggery Powder, 907 Grams(gm)

This jaggery is one of the perfect one for making sweets. I tried peanut burfi (cake) and it tastes delicious.

We use this in cooking Indian and Latin food, and in our baking now too. Adds wicked depth to dishes without a lot of sweetness, and give a molasses type kick to apples and other fruit. Grateful to be able to get it delivered to us in rural NY without a trip to a major city. Awesome!

Definitely better than regular sugar, even "organic" sugar. Jaggery is suppose to be the raw sugar from the cane with no separation from the molasses, so much like actual raw honey, contains more nutrients than normal sugars. Everyone should be using jaggery over any normal sugars sold in nearly every grocery store. However, I've definitely had better jaggery than this. Wonder if it's been processed?

This is one the best quality jaggery powders I have used.

This is the best Jaggery out there. Of course that assumes you actually get this Product. In a recent order I received a different brand than I ordered and it tasted horrible. Smoke flavored sugar. The sugar was obviously normal sugar with an additive to mimic Jaggery color.

I find it a great sweetener

First time user to make sukku malli. Was good. Now use it to sweeten my Grape Nuts too.

Had to buy this because my local supply was inaccessible during the pandemic and this was shipped. Outrageously high price. Will never buy again.
