Victrix fs pro 12 is more premium feel, But the Kitsune is great.
This is 100x better than the snackbox from junkfoodarcades. I have a snackbox and the 3d printed buttons feel like they get stuck on the edges etc. This thing has amazing input latency, registers fast, and feels quite nice on your lap. I still think the "Premium" hitbox to get is the victrix fs pro 12. This is easier to travel with also. Overall, I'd say this is my 2nd favorite hitbox if it isn't the victrix pro fs 12. Trust me, don't get any 3d printed hitboxes from these small companies, just get the kitsune. You get that mass printed quality feel that you do not have with the snackbox and many more.

Great leverless but expensive
Great-feeling leverless controller. Pros: Light weight, thin body that's easy to throw in the laptop pocket of a backpack Detachable USB-C cable with a locking clasp that holds it in place Native PS5 support with a switch to toggle xinput for windows PC use Easy to swap switches and keycaps Grippy textured surface on the bottom PlayStation touchpad on the controller, in PC mode the touchpad doubles as a mouse RGB has a few controls accessible through shortcuts on-board, most importantly off Factory-installed switches feel very responsive and are very quiet Cons: The factory keycaps are oil and grime magnets. At home it's easy to just wash your hands like an adult human being but if you're at an event, especially a local where you're probably sharing a table with two pizzas and some chipotle, it can be difficult to keep the buttons clean The factory keycaps have a little side-to-side play that can increase their felt travel distance a bit The factory keycaps don't always sit perfectly on aftermarket switches from other brands, so if you replace your switches you might want to be prepared to replace the caps too The factory switches themselves feel like they have a little more travel than some top tier arcade buttons you might have used in the past The board's SOCD cleaning is compliant with Capcom Cup rules but at the time of posting there is no way to change the SOCD mode so if you play a game that allows different SOCD settings you will be forced into complying with the more strict Capcom rules (though if your character has a 22/down down special input you're eating good here) The cable lock probably won't work with aftermarket cables Unless you buy a special edition one getting stick art currently means basically having a big sticker made because there's currently no option for transparent faceplates. The kitsune does look great in solid black though Maybe?: The kitsune's body is larger than some micro leverless controllers but smaller than a full-sized one, so keep that in mind if you have really particular size requirements. I personally think it's the perfect size but I have friends who prefer larger stick bodies that feel more stable in a lap Amazon shipped mine in the OEM box which is really sturdy and well-packed but also broadcasts your 300 dollar PS5 controller to anyone watching

This thing is awesome.
Are you a person that comes from playing a lot of high-precision games on keyboard and mouse (like FPS games)? This will be a revolution for your fighting game playing. It's so so so much easier to execute commands quickly and consistently on this. My only gripe at all is I do wish there was an option to swap the down (middle finger) and up/jump (thumb) buttons via the hardware itself, but this is just because my brain is so hardwired to WASD from PC games that it frequently wants to use my middle finger to move "up" or "away from me" on-screen. Otherwise, this is everything I hoped for. It's well made, lightweight, responsive, nice-looking, easy-to-use, and worth every penny.

Review after 200+ hours on Street fighter 6
200+ hours of Street fighter 6 on this I can finally leave my review. I have SF6 for both PC and PS5 and before I got this I was using the cheap bentobox/snackbox knock off from aliexpress for $50 dollars. Pros Its thin, light, feels premium and great for PS5 lap play. Before I got this I rarely played SF6 on my PS5 because the ali-express lever-less had a super small form factor and just wasn't comfortable for lap play at all and I didn't have a table directly in front of me to play at the height I wanted to. Now that I have it im playing on the PS5 as my primary. Cons This thing is currently not "hot-swappable". And this is my opinion but I could use slightly lighter buttons and I would switch them out if I could. Trying to Drive rush on this thing by double tapping forward is not fast enough for me so I ended up just using the binded mp+lk button to trigger it. The Kitsune will probably be able swappable in the future just not right now. You can technically swap the switches out with other low profile ones but the current razer button caps will not fit perfectly causing the buttons to fall off or not be sturdy. So until razer decides to release extra switches that will work with their caps or some 3rd party decides to sell aftermarket caps that fit the switches you decide to use its a no go without serious modding. As of 11/19/2023 - The Kitsune will not wake up the PS5 using the PS5 button. You have to wake up the PS5 with a normal PS5 controller and once it wakes up you need to hit O to go back and then press the PS5 button on the kitsune to register. It would be better if you can wake up the PS5 with the Kitsune. I don't really like it for PC table play.. The thing has a good surface area and has enough space to rest your wrists and hands while playing on your lap and its perfect for that. However when I use it on my computer for table play it doesn't feel that great to me compared to my knock off ali-express. The aliexpress 3d printed one is small and thin as well and on table play your wrists are resting on the table and your fingers are on the buttons which feels fine however for the kitsune your wrist is resting on the kitsune and not the table which feels awkward to me like im trying to play the piano. But thats just me but I prefer playing on the ali-express on my computer because of this. Other thoughts I use this thing for multiple hours a day and because the buttons are heavier than I am use to I had alot of finger fatigue and my wrist would also start hurting during early sessions which was a bummer because I felt like I wouldn't be able to play as much as I could with this. This may not be a problem for everyone but it was for me. I had to find ways online to prevent this and ended up getting things that would strengthen my fingers and my wrists and ever since I did that it was able to play for much longer sessions. This next part is also my opinion because it depends on your finger placement and the size of your hands but I feel that the buttons are little big and too spread out. Its not a super big issue and it doesn't bother me much but there were alot of times I was not able to react to Drive Impact fast enough because I was hitting lp or lk and the DI button is all the way on the other side. The buttons are 30mm but I feel if they were 28mm bringing it slightly closer then it would be perfect. With all that said hands down buy it if you are playing on a PS5 it is a must. But for PC/Table play I would just stick to my 3d printed aliexpress lever-less it works well, its hot swappable and its perfect for table play and I get no hand pains.

Slim, effective and solid but pricey
I got this as an alternative to my Hitbox and I actually like it more. + Slim and easy to carry around + Near silent buttons so you're not annoying everyone + Great Leverless - Price - Finish is that matte black that picks up oil and dust really easily. I've included a picture of the Kitsune vs. the Hitbox vs. an Xbox controller for a size comparison.

Elevate your input game
This is my first Hitbox controller, and so far I'm loving it. Very good quality controller. Light weight and easy to use. Inputs are crisp. Long term Tekken player, my throw game already feels elevated. It's much easier for me to confidently input directions and multiple buttons simultaneously or in quick succession. It may take a few weeks to fully get used to the button layout. Very sleek design.

Cable lock
Really good leverless controller , decent price. Best thing is it has a "lock" door for the cable so it'll keep it secure my biggest problem with other leverless the cable would just wear down over time ican tell this will be durable and the buttons feel really smooth

Good product, horrible QC
Don’t typically write reviews but I will for this given the cost and hype surrounding the Kitsune. After owning the Kitsune for less than 2 weeks, certain inputs would become “stuck” even when the button itself was not depressed, oftentimes mid-match. I’ve tried cleaning the switches, swapping keycaps, nothing seems to work. This has essentially rendered the device useless. The product itself feels great to use when it’s working and the PS5 compatibility is great, but either the design of the optical switches is faulty or (more likely), Razer’s QC is lacking. A quick google search will show many people encountering the same defect. For reference, I’ve had an OG Hitbox for nearly two years - it’s been dropped maybe a dozen times and the output jack is bent but it still works like the day I bought it. In summary: Avoid the Kitsune. For the price, any one of the many other leverless options available is a better buy

After two months
Im always was a d-pad (dualshock) player after playing tekken8 for a couple of weeks my left thumb got destroyed literally, so I thought of an alternative , a leverlees cuz its will be a hell challenge to learn all that muscle memory over the years again , an excitement I don't wanna make it any longer lets talk about the issues : 1-u need to make adjustments on the u set and play 2- make sure to wipe the service and sanitize it if u can( thats will remove the finger prints and the greasy looking) Other than that I didn't face any issues its working like a charm and Im loving the journey just take care of it . Thank you

Fora isso, perfeito!
Hitbox com resposta no comando muita rápida, só não dou 5 estrelas pelo fato do comando do pulo ser neutro, deveria pular mesmo com o botão para baixo estar pressionado!

You actually get what you paid for.
Really solid build quality and design. Was initially skeptical of the 400+ CAD price tag but this thing is built like a tank. It has full metal body and buttons, a really nice USB port that secures and locks your USB cable in place making it as strong as if they hardwired the cable in so no accidental disconnections. The buttons are silent but responsive and firm. It performs as advertised and if fighting games are basically your job/ strong passion then I would highly recommend getting this.

Arrived Early and Works
I got this because I got frustrated from using an arcade stick against my cheap spammer best friend playing Tekken 8. Arrived a day earlier than expected! In great condition. It's my first leverless controller. The price is a bit more than most but it's a Razer product and works as it should without issue. It's as advertised, especially for the price hehe. There's cheaper options out there, so go for that. If you can afford the Kitsune, spoil yourself if you feel like it.
