It's good stuff. Have't used the needle spot, but it will be nice to have when I need it.

I have to use tamper evident lacquer as part of my job to make sure various adjustments are not changed after I set them for warranty purposes, so I figured I would give this stuff a try to see if it was a viable alternative to the expensive brand name stuff I already have. I did not use this in production of course, but did some testing on non-production parts, and I have to say I am impressed. I first tried a drop on some Philips screw heads. The stuff dries reasonably quickly, about the same as the other stuff I already use. Once dry it seems to be stable and stays in place with normal handling. Once you use a screwdriver to try to turn the screw, it flakes off and it is very obvious when a tool has been used to turn the screw. I also tried using it on the shaft of a potentiometer and the result was pretty much the same, once dried, if you adjust the pot, the lacquer cracks and pops off and it's obvious that the pot had been adjusted. I can recommend this product if you need a tamper evident indicator lacquer to show evidence of tampering with factory adjusted settings such as screws on covers or potentiometer settings.

Been using an alternative brand for awhile now since I couldn't find someone who actually carry this brand. This is from Germany and have used it for over 15 years and they work. They are also known as witness marks. People sometimes use a paint pen to mark the fasteners has been torqued to spec but they fade over time especially if you wash the underside or suspension after each trip. They flow like white out and quickly hardens but will stay on the fasteners until you put a wrench/tool to it. A must have for every tool box and anyone who wrenches for a living, even the shadetree mechanic. A quick and visually inspect fasteners of they vibrate loose. Note, this is not use to prevent fasteners from vibrating loose. Awesome product and will buy other colors for suspension work and engine work.

This is a must for any mechanics tool box. I use torque seal on my aviation and automobile projects. I use it as a visual indicator on fasteners like nuts, bolts and screws to indicate that the fastener has been final torque as well as visual maintenance indicator that fastener is not coming loose. I usually use another brand in marker form factor that costs twice as much. I saw this as a value alternative and decided to give it a try. It works just as well and is highly visible. It's durable when dried. It does take a little longer to dry than the competition marker type usually use but that's ok. Thus will last longer because because there is more torque seal in the tube than the marker form. Highly recommend.

I got this and used it during some of my basic auto repairs. It serves two purposes for me: 1. First off, it lets me know that I fully torqued the bolt to its final amount 2. I can see if the bolt is loosening over time. I find it really useful for both of these needs, especially on bolts that are either hard to get to or on ones where you just don't feel confident that they won't loosen up over time. The tube is easy to use. It comes out very liquid and then hardens up over the course of a few minutes.

This is a "must-have" for any mechanic who works on race cars/trucks, in aviation, or for those simply wanting to be thorough. I've tried several things from permanent markers to paint pens, and while those work okay, Bader'sTork Seal works the best for me. The application goes on thick and dries quickly. Trying to achieve this with a paint pen usually ends up in runs and a big mess where this is nice clean and accurate with no runs. It's pretty durable, but it does remove when tampered with, which is kind of the point. Overall it's good stuff, and it's what I use on all my projects.

I used this on a bunch of race car suspension bolts, torqued before a race. I used brake cleaner to clean the surface of the nuts, and then dabbed the paint on with the long, thin, tapered nozzle. I was surprised at how thick the paint was - it made a bead of paint due to the applicator. So far, it's held up and makes it easy to see if the bolts twist relative to the nuts or surfaces the paint is applied to. I chose yellow, which is easily visible. So far so good. I'll update the review if I have issues.

This is a very handy visual indicator for shop use in my garage and around the house. I'll tighten / torque a fastener down, and then mark it with this paint. This gives me 3 reasons to use it. One is I'll know which fastener I DID tighten, second is I'll see if it has moved during use, and lastly even a year or so later I'll remember that this component was addressed / replaced by me with a quick visual. I know this is a very small tube, however it takes SO little of the paint to mark the fastener. This tube should last a very long time.
