How thick are these? Do they increase height?

They are a decent thickness, and do increase height a little. They have been a lifesaver for me couldn't have done without them

They do take up a little space and are pretty clingy to your skin so they certainly might work and stay in place but not totally sure, tbh

Do these help prevent heal blisters? Do they go far enough up on the ankle?

Not really for that ?? I did find them sort of slippery and sweaty?? They were helpful , a bit, for the pad of the heel.
