He is 6 and obsessed with Titanic. This was the closest thing we could find to a Titanic submersible model. It is a very expensive toy for a 6 year old, but we are learning/teaching about the importance of nice things and how to keep them nice. We walk to our community pool and he loves to drive it around the pool. We use a wagon to transport it and walk it over. It is large and not super heavy. He could carry it, but he's 6. :) The only issue is the yellow band around the ship is tape and that tape holds the bottom brown part to the top white part. It is connected but the tape keeps the gap closed (if that makes sense) In the bottom part is the electrical wiring, we had an issue with some it getting wet and we do not like that it was just "Tape" holding it together. Will be gluing to resolve that issue. Otherwise perfect gift for our Titanic Obsessed son, who loves Remote control things.

The nut for the center prop fell of on the first use in the pool and was immediately lost. I am having trouble finding a replacement.

The media could not be loaded. I was initially hesitant to order this due to the cost. It is a quality RC ship and very detailed. Works well in our pool. I’m not sure I would use it in a lake or the ocean. Overall my 9 year old son loves it. He was able to set it all up and operate it himself. It’s a lot of fun to use. If your a Titanic fan it is a great ship!

The physical ship is sturdy and well made but the electronic part is leaking big time. It quit working within not much time at all. This is too expensive to only be able to use it for about 10 times.

nice details but RC is useless. rudder does not work properly out of the box

Bought as a Christmas gift for our 8 yr old son. He loves it beyond words. Lights up nicely. Runs great Ready to use right out of the box
