Great spin on the classic game. I have the dice version of the card game and adding the board game version to my collection of Fluxx games is pretty fantastic.

Excellent- fun game. We love this game. It is creative, always different with each game. Love the strategy aspect and how you have to be flexible.

We've been playing Fluxx for over a decade. We've been through many iterations of the card game and whittled it down to our selection of favorites. But we've never ventured into the board game. It just felt like it wouldn't work, couldn't work. And in a way, we were right. Fluxx The Board Game is a very different experience. But, we should have trusted the Looney Labs design pedigree, because they've rarely disappointed. Fluxx The Board Game is a chaotic experience that still, somehow, bizarrely manages to reward strategic and tactical play. Sure, a lot of luck will factor into your success. But this game rewards those who can navigate the chaos as it swirls around them. It's FUN. And it's not nearly as prone to the "Nope I just ended it because I drew the exact right card" experience of Fluxx. You're actively working towards things and can plan, unlike the card game. There's still chaos, but there's also purpose. It's a very different experience than Fluxx, but brings a little more gamey-ness to a chaotic romp. All this and it still comes in a box the size of my palm only as big as about two Fluxx card boxes stacked. Recommended and we'll be keeping this on our shelf!

The game is easy to pick up. I think it's actually a bit easier than the Fluxx card game. It's a little less chaotic and more strategic because there's not as many rule changes happening. The new! smaller box makes it really easy to carry around/throw in a bag. The game pieces are all well made and I really like the pegboard used to show the rule changes. I wish the card game had something similar for things like draw, play and hand limit!
