ChanelInimitable Intense Mascara ( Brown)

I wanted a mascara to replace a staple that had been discontinued, suitable for day-wear (not thick black false eyelash type!) but noticeably defined.I tried several and was hugely disappointed by the brushes, texture and staying power. A review elsewhere led me to this and it’s perfect. I'd read about just how brilliant this was online, although I did baulk at the price. However, I've taken this journalist's advice on other products and never been disappointed and, lo and behold, this really is fantastic. No clumping, builds coat by coat if you want luscious evening lashes - I only use one coat for daytime - and goes on wonderfully. Eyelashes don't feel 'heavy'. It is my go-to mascara from now on! Oh, and Amazon was the only place online I could find it in brown.

I, too, have been searching for a brown mascara and, having read other reviews, thought I would try this one and I am delighted with the result. The wand is slim and very manageable, the brown colour is perfect without any reddish overtones, the texture is light yet it remains throughout the day with no need of 'topping up', nor does it flake, smudge or streak. Hopefully, Chanel will continue to produce it in brown and I will certainly re-order in due course.

Does what it says .. would have preferred a better brush

REALLY LOVELY MASCARA. NO CLOGGING, SIMPLE BRUSH, GOES ON REALLY WELL. EASY TO TAKE OFF. BEAUTIFUL CASING. WELL WORTH THE MONEY

My favourite mascara, been using for years. Can be tricky to find brown mascara, so will be sticking with this one.

Thought I'd ordered black in stead of Brown, but love this mascara.

Unfortunately, had to return the product - the result looked good, but soon after the application it started to irritate my eyes. Never happened before with any other mascara.
