This auto dark lense is solid for the money. Cheaper than the Lincoln shades. Only con is that it’s one shade but that’s what you get for the money. Fairly durable, i have It in my pipeliner hood, and sometimes it’ll go dark if you bump it too hard on something. Works fine for tig(ac and dc). Overall decent quality for the money.

Has a slite blue tint around puddle. Has helped with seeing edge of bevel when capping. Have had 2 previous only lasted a year. Wish they lasted a bit longer but for the price not to bad.

... until it started flashing. I should have taken some of the reviews that warned about this lens flashing them more seriously. Not even a week into using this lens and it started flashing me. Then it stopped working half the time I was using it. Never should anyone have to squint their eyes before they strike up an arc because they are paranoid whether or not their lens is going to work or not.I more than likely lost a decent amount of eye cells from fighting through it until I decided to call quits on this lens... and that's on me being stubborn (just bought them, could you blame me). 2 stars only because when the lens did work, it looks great.Other than that, they should replace the lens I bought or give me a refund. Unsatisfied is a huge understatement.

I have each one from #10 to #12! Dont need battries been using the fiber metal #910, thats 2x4 “not the flip up” for 42 years. Ive got the miller elite 4x6 w/ cool Belt head gear and fan i use on special jobs. These ameriarc lens are worth every penny

after using this lens for more than a month my lens keeps going out once i’m welding. it flashes on & off as if it’s broken. sucks
