Finally a good one!!!
I have only used this one time but it’s so much better than any of the other dark brown gel pencils I have ever used and I probably have 4 other brands in my drawer right now. I’ve had it on for hours. Zero smudging and I have oily eye lids. I’m amazed! I thought I needed to go the expensive route and visited ulta. The young girl suggested urban decay which I fell for. It was more than twice the cost of this wonderful L’Oréal infallible pencil and not retractable! 😱. I returned it today and thankfully my new L’Oréal came today which I immediately applied. I’m so excited that I finally found a good waterproof no smudge gel eyeliner! Color is great. East to apply. Glides on nicely.

Long-Lasting and Easy to Apply
I’ve been very impressed with this eyeliner pencil. It glides on smoothly without tugging or pulling on the delicate skin around my eyes, making application quick and easy. The color goes on evenly and provides great definition. What I love most is how long-lasting it is. Once applied, it stays put throughout the day without smudging or fading, and I rarely need any touch-ups. Even after a full day of wear, it still looks fresh. If you’re looking for an eyeliner that is easy to apply, comfortable to wear, and truly long-lasting, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely continue purchasing it.

Good for tight lining!
I bought this specifically for tight lining my upper lids. I have very fair eyelashes and wear brown mascara. I still struggled with my eyes looking how I wanted them to. Bought this eyeliner on a whim to try the tight lining and it is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Smooth application, beautiful rich brown color. I took one star off because I need to reapply after a couple of hours because it will wear off in spots, making my lashes look weird. I wish it would stay out longer.

Obsessed — this liner does NOT budge
I’ve tried so many eyeliners that claim to be long-wear, but this one actually delivers. It glides on super smoothly (no tugging on my eyelids), and the color goes on evenly in one pass. The biggest win for me is the staying power — I wore it through a full day of work, errands, and even a sweaty moment, and it still looked freshly applied. No smudging, no raccoon eyes, and it held up beautifully on my waterline too. The little blending tip is such a nice touch. I can keep it sharp and clean for an everyday look, or smudge it out for a soft, smoky vibe when I want something more dramatic. I also have sensitive eyes and contact lenses, and this didn’t irritate me at all. If you want a waterproof, truly long-wearing eyeliner that’s easy to apply and looks amazing all day, this is it. I’m already planning to grab another shade!

What's IMPORTANT to know EDIT
EDIT: at 75, I also use the WHITE eyeliner, but a little differently. I just use to color in if I had a wee bit of skin showing as I have a short pixie cut. This wouldn't work for a big bald spot, but I have thin fine hair and some spots you can see a bit of skin. I rub a little of the white in (I have salt and pepper hair, more salt) and it works a treat. ALSO FOR NAILS - I keep my nails short with just a little of the white tip. I just like my nails to look clean and well-groomed. ush, I especially brush UNDER the nail tip. First, I buff and shape my nails, buffing them gets rid of any lines (which is aging looking), then I take some whitening toothpaste and a toothbrush and clean them, especially UNDER the nail tip. Next I add one coat of Seche base and one coat of polish. After they dry, I take a white eye liner pencil and color in the backs of my nail tips and then lightly polish BEHIND my nail tip using my clear polish. They look CLEAN without having that white paint French tip look. They look natural, just better. _________________________________________________ First, I'm turning 73. I still like dark eyeliner (just on top, close to lash line), but one I can blur so not too heavy. THIS works a treat! PROS: If you like black or dark eyeliner, but want to fade it out, the little sponge on bottom works well for me. I draw a line as thin and close to eyelash line as possible. IT HELPS if you have a steady hand. It's hard to draw a REALLY thin line, but I do as thin as I can. Then I take the sponge end, and BLEND. It may take you a little practice, but be patient. Just try it a few times. It doesn't seem to BUDGE once I do that. I LIKE it's RETRACTABLE! Anyone else have rough edges on their eyeliner after trying to sharpen, whether the pencil is wood or plastic? And I HATE that. About the time you realize you need to sharpen, is because it's scratched your eyelid. CONS: IF you don't want BLACK, obviously not the pencil to get. If you still love a bit of a smoky eye you can blend out so not as intense, you may want to give this a whirl. BOTTOMLINE: Works for me. As far as eyebrows, for you ladies who no matter your age, still have dark eyebrows (my natural hair color is DARK brown to black and my eyebrows are still black even though my hair is now salt and pepper), I find a powder shadow just a little lighter than my brows, with a qtip, brush, sponge tip that is dampened, gives me a MUCH softer brow and just fills it in a little.

Bright Nude was a bit darker than I expected
*The lighting is not great in my video. For better reference, I have between very light to light and neutral toned skin on the back of my hand. My face color is actually darker... falling between light and light-medium and taking on a slightly warmer tone (when comparing to the spectrum of very basic concealer colors found in most drugstores). This will explain how I'm able to use the eyeliner the way I do given the way it shows up on my hand in the video. I thought this liner would be a bit lighter than it actually was. Turns out it was just a 1-2 shades light enough for me to use as a faint highlighter on my brow bones and under my eyes, towards the inner corners. It doesn't look good on my water-line (right above the lower lashes). It ends up making me look sickly and weird if I try to wear it like that. It matches too closely with my overall skin color/shade and makes the little bit of warmth I have on my face look like a washed out yellow tone. It basically makes me look like I have glossy eyeballs, tiny eyes, a weird bottom lash line, and questionable for jaundice. (It might work better on the water line for people with darker skin or possibly cooler skin tones.) I'd consider the bright nude to have a mostly neutral tone. People with pale, fair skin likely couldn't use it for highlighting and brightening. I think it would be too dark. It's like a pale nude color. Those with fair to light skin may actually be able to use it as a concealer. (It would probably make a great spot concealer, TBH.) This liner has a lot of great qualities about it... The mechanical pencil design works well. The liner is firm enough not to melt all over the place if you try to apply it like an eyeliner. But it goes on smoothly so there's no need for a lot of pressure or tugging. The cap seals securely and prevents it from drying out. The pigment is rich, even for such a pale color. There is a pencil sharpener built in on the end with the sponge tip. I haven't needed to use it for this liner given I use it as a highlighter/brightener. But it has come in handy with my other eyeliner that doesn't have a built in sharpener. The sponge tip is adequate and actually works for blending. I use it a little aggressively and haven't had any plastic or rough parts poke thru yet. It's easy to wash, too. Even though the liner glides on smooth and creamy, it sets very quickly. I guess this could be a good or bad thing depending on how you want to use the liner. I could see it being beneficial for those who are able to use this on their water line. But for me, it's a bit of a nuisance. (Watch the video & see why.) This liner is amongst the last things I'll apply to my face when wearing make up. It's because I have to move fast to get it to blend smoothly. I can't just drag the color over an area and wait to blend it later. I really don't have much time to fumble with other things, like looking for my favorite beauty blender. When this thing sets in place, it's pretty much set. It's easily blendable within the first 10 seconds of applying it. After that, it begins to "dry" in place. I'm still able to blend it after 10 seconds, but the more I wait, the more difficult it becomes to blend away all streakiness. If I wait more than a minute, it becomes too much of a hassle to try to blend around my sensitive eye skin. But this liner will blend. And if done properly, it blends beautifully. It almost seems to disappear into my skin or become gradient with other colors. Sometimes I'll blend this with dots of frosted white liner for a brighter effect. The bright nude color is matte, so even though it works as a highlighter, the effect it has is pretty subtle. I would buy this item again. I would recommend it to others. I would just caution that it may not work out as expected if you're skin is very light or beyond. Still, it's blendable. It makes a great base for powder eye shadow and blends well with other creamy stick liners. I'd be interested in buying other colors from this line. The bright nude liner has been impressively smudge resistant, waterproof, and long lasting. I don't have to touch up thru out the day. I just have to worry about applying it properly the first time and getting it all off at night.

Good but not infallible
Color is perfect. Glides on easily but smudges and rubs off easily if there's even a hint of oil (e.g. from foundation or primer) on your eyelids.

Darker than I thought, but good
I don’t think it looks brown, it shows darker, but I love the way this works! I will probably purchase again at some point!

Beautiful colour and long wear pencil
Beautiful colour, long wear time, no smudging, no raccoon eyes after 10+ hours. Needs a good sharpener as the wood is hard. I will definitely buy this again rather than spending $20+ for a Lise watier metallic brown pencil (not retractable either) which doesn't last as long and smudges by the end of the day. I wish there would be more metallic colours like this one.

Long-Lasting and Brightening! ✨
The L’Oréal Paris Infallible Grip 36H Gel Mechanical White Liner in "Polar White" has become a staple in my makeup routine! The color is a true, vibrant white that instantly brightens my eyes and makes me look more awake. The texture is smooth and glides effortlessly across my waterline without tugging. It's highly pigmented, so you don’t need multiple passes to get a bold look. Plus, it dries quickly and stays put all day long—no smudging or fading, even after hours of wear! The fact that it’s waterproof is a huge bonus. I’ve worn it through workouts and humid days, and it holds up perfectly. The mechanical design is super convenient; no sharpening is needed, which saves time. Whether you’re going for a subtle highlight or a bold graphic liner look, this eyeliner delivers. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to brighten their eyes with a long-lasting formula! 🖤
