My husband usually gets oversized hats, but this one did run larger than expected. Great quality though! He has a shaven head for the summer but will be great for the winter when it grows back out.

I probably misunderstood the description when I ordered this. I though "fitted" meant that I could fit it to where I needed it to be. So, I ordered the biggest size and - it is too big. I wrongly assumed that it would be like most caps in that it would have a fastener in the back which can be adjusted to fit properly. Alas, there is no fastener. It is just like a regular hat that comes as is. It may work out for me in that I wear my hair up a lot so this hat will fit regardless of how high up on my head all my mane of hair is. The material is very soft, thick and strong. It does have the look and feel of genuine 100% cotton.

As others in the reviews have said, the sizing runs a little big compared to the measurements listed. Other than that, it's a great hat.

I like this cap very much. I like a cap that fits down on my head. Most caps just sit on top of my head. It measures about 25 inches around on the inside and it is not adjustable. This makes it large enough to wear a sweat absorbing bandana or a stretchy beanie cap underneath.This cap is medium weight 100% cotton twill. All the seams are topstitched, and the front two panels are interfaced so they keep their shape. The brim has a very nice gentle curve and at its widest it is 7.5 inches across, so it is in made to be congruent with the larger size cap. There is one small, embroidered air hole for each of the six panels and a .5 inch covered button at the center top.

Fits great and looks great

I ordered this extra size cap in blue for my husband, who has a very large head. We had a debate about which size to get - 8 or 8-1/4. We got 8-1/4. Should've stuck with 8 (XL), which was my choice. When they say XXL, they mean it. It was a bit too big, which is rare for my husband. So, don't second-guess sizes. Get your size. Size aside, this is a great cap -- the color’s nice and it's well-made. The quality is terrific. I highly recommend this cap. I hope this information is helpful.

I really like the way this hat is put together. The only issue is it runs a bit large. I got the same size as by other hats but this one turned out to be a bit larger than normal. I can still use it so that's good. It feels extremely light on the head and since it is made of 100% cotton, it is breathable without causing any sweating while waring it for prolonged hours. Overall, a good hat, just be sure about the size before your buy.

I measured, but what I selected was too big. But seems like a quality hat regardless of size!
