Work great through the app on my phone.
My plugs work great! No problems with them connecting with my phone app. I have a box fan and a lamp plugged in them. No getting buck up when I forget to turn them on or off.

Great electronics management tool
These have been a great help in my house. I can control lamp lights with alexa or smartphone app with ease. Connecting is a breeze. Great value for the price. I use one on my 3d printer so it doesnt stay running all the time. You can set a timer or time for the switches to turn on or off. If i have an idea of a print while not home i can turn the printer on thru the app and run it from anywhere.

An expensive lesson for me
Ordered this because it says "requires no hub" thinking that meant no additional app is required. Apparently not. Had to download the Smartlife app for it. It won't work with a 5G wifi. When I went to adjust my wifi to the 2.4, I couldn't log in. That's on me, I guess. I've spent the past four hours trying to figure out how to log in to my ASUS wifi account without resetting my wifi to factory default because I can't find a working password for my wifi. That's on me. Anyway, guess I am the only ignorant person in the country who didn't know the distinction between connecting a smart plug to Alexa instantaneously versus downloading yet another app then adjusting the entire system so the 2.4 was available. Apparently, the only way in God's creation to do this is to only order the Amazon brand smart plug. I have $50 of brand new smart plugs, 8 of them, here that I purchased through Lunabode but, alas, past the return date because I was "stocking up". "It's enough to make a preacher cuss!" So, beware, if you want "easy, get the Amazon brand smart plugs!
