Off-Brand Savior for My Harvest Cure I approached these Moiscon 62% RH 2-Way Humidity Control Packets with healthy skepticism due to the lower price point and limited very mixed reviews, but they have proven to be a game-changer for my curing process. The Problem They Solved: My recent harvest had dried out significantly—it was brittle, crumbly, and far too dry to store properly. It was essentially turning to dust. I was almost at a oss as to what I should do. I have always been scared to add moisture due to the possibility of rapid mold growth. This is where these packs truly shined. I knew they were the best and really only option I actually had. Exceptional Performance: After placing a single 8g pack in each mason jar, I saw a dramatic change in moisture content within 24 hours. The material is now supple, sticky, and has regained the perfect moisture level. It’s no longer fragile; it's exactly the quality I aim for. They effectively rehydrated my product and stabilized the Relative Humidity at the ideal 62% mark, restoring the cure perfectly. Each one is individually sealed which is nice. These size 8s are good for an ounce of herb. So a quart mason jar full will require one or two. They seem to be working as well as other brands so far. If they don’t last as long I’ll update. These were a better value than the other ones I would buy so hopefully they are just as good.

These work but become hard quicker than other humidity packs. But for the time they are used they are adequate

I bought these to help with the curing process/preservation. They work perfect. Definitely recommend.

Do not buy this product if you expect it to control humidity. I purchased a 15 pack of 8 gram MoisCon 2-way humidity control packets and followed directions to stabilize jars of dryer and cured herbs. I monitored the humidity of each jar with individual hygrometers and the results showed humidity from 66% to 69%. I performed a ‘reality check’ on the hygrometers using a single empty jar with a Boveda humidity pack and the humidity stabilized to 62% for all hygrometers within a few hours, as expected. I repeated this using a MoisCon packet and the results were the same: The humidity was way off with 66-69% RH reported by all hygrometers. The herb packed showed 60-61% for all packed jars without any humidity packs indicating a proper dry/cure the herb. I then weighed each Moistcon packet and placed a few into a jar with 1 ml of water and waited until the water vaporized and then re-weighed the packets. Their weight did not change indicating that they did not absorb any water. The MoisCon packets contain no water as the packets are filled with a dry powder, unlike a Boveda humidity pack. MoisCon humidity packs can neither absorb water nor release water as they claim. AMO on needs to remove this product from their offerings!!

Quick delivery, great product

I process raw, whole tobacco leaves to roll my own chemical-free cigarettes and often the leaves need to be moistened before cleaning, and cutting which tends to make the tobacco a little too moist to be injected into a cigarette tube. So, after cutting the tobacco I put about 8oz in a sealed container with one Wiseorb 67gram pack and within a few hours the tobacco is at it's perfect moisture level. These Wiseorb packets work in reverse also. If pre-cut tobacco dries up before rolling into tube it will re-moisten the tobacco to the perfect level. And, as a big plus, the Wiseorb 2 way packets are less expensive than most other brands. One of the well-known brands costs $10 for one 67 gram pack compared to 5 packets for $10. I'm not sure of the longevity, or how long they will perform as well as when initially taken out of the cellophane packaging, but I will update this review once I use these for a few months. So far, this seems to be the brand I will be using going forward.

I use hygrometers to test quality and assurance, not some person writing a review who doesn't. After using boveda.. then 'wiseorb'..I will say that wiseorb has better value but it barely cracked my hygrometer from being 54% to 56% and it was less than an Oz jar. Boveda didn't do a damn thing. I could tell you how to keep the moisture properly and without fault but this is their show and I just wanted to leave an honest one telling growers that it does not meet the 1 Oz per pack standard they are saying. Stay up. Be excellent to each other.

He's worked amazing for hydrating dry herbs they bring out a great smell for the product and make it last a lot longer and make it a higher quality definitely recommend for anyone who gets herbs and is a little bit dry we're definitely by these in the future if the price point is the same

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Does not work. I've got 3 packs in my violin case, didn't do anything. Get Boveda instead, don't cheap out for this
