KONG Cozie Funky Monkey, Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, for Medium Dogs

Well loved by a 9mo Boston Terrier. It goes to bed with her and in and out of the toy box. She picks it out to squeek and shake ferociously true to a terrier, she whips it around and chews on the tail as if it were chewing gum (holding up well).Her first target was the cute tuft of yellow hair on the monkey's head, she did her best to pull it out, so Monkey got a "crew cut" so she wouldn't ingest it. Its still a favorite, just had a new hairstyle! Still squeeky! Bought to replace aging purple Rhino... which just got tired looking between all the love its received from her Boston big sister and now her enjoyment.UPDATE: Monkey stopped squeeking today. Durable exterior, so no loose parts... might have to do surgery to replace the squeeker.

My fur grand baby really likes this monkey! He is on his fourth one now and it is his favorite lovey. It is not a durable as some of the other Kong toys, but just the right size to hold in his mouth. We’ll keep buying them because it is a comfort lovey for him.

My sister and her husband have two little Chiweenie dogs and it's a lot of fun to spoil them! When I went to visit them, I wanted to buy some toys for the dogs and came upon these KONG Cozie toys. They looked adorable and were a reasonable price so I ordered two different ones.I ordered Spunky the Monkey and Ali the Alligator in the medium size for their dogs, who are 11 pounds and 15 pounds. My sister said these toys are a good size for her dogs. The packaging says they are made of non-toxic materials and an extra layer is added to make the toys last longer. The toys are soft, adorable and look just like the pictures show. There is a squeaker in the butt part of both of the toys we got and I'm glad it's not a loud squeaker. One of my sister's dogs is afraid of loud noises and this one is perfect for him. The squeaker wasn't too easy for them to do but I had fun squeezing them and making noises for the dogs. These toys aren't meant to be chew toys and they are made in China.The dogs really liked these toys. We played tug-of-war with them and the dogs love to throw them in the air. When we were playing with them, I heard some stitches ripping but didn't notice anything major so I think these toys are fairly durable. They are so cute and both dogs claimed their own toys! Overall, I think they are well-made and good-quality for the price we paid. I can't speak for the other sizes but the medium size is good even for smaller dogs. Next time I need to buy more plush dog toys, I will be checking these out again and recommend them!

MONKEY(Medium): The good news is that my dog loved this toy. The bad news is that apparently a 55lb lab/pit mix has entirely too much love to give for this toy to handle. He had half of the stuffing ripped out of it within a few minutes. I can't fault the toy too much for this though seeing as how no other plush toy that we've gotten him has fared any better. The "minimal stuffing, minimal mess" claim does seem to be legit, which is nice. We've had much worse messes to clean up from other toys. The second half of the toy's stuffing seems to be lasting a bit longer than the first half too, as it hasn't gotten much worse over the last 24 hours. The extra layer of material in this toy may be to thank for that.RHINO(Medium): I have to say that this little purple plush toy has already exceeded my expectation for its life expectancy and it's only been two weeks since we got it. Normally my dog would have completely obliterated a lesser plush toy within a week, but he hasn't even gotten this one opened up yet despite playing with it on a daily basis. We even played tug of war with it regularly and even the limbs haven't gave out yet.If I had to give my rating on the monkey alone, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. The rhino has definitely earned a 5 star rating though, so since I have to rate them jointly I think it pulls the monkey's weight enough to get the 5 star.

One of the best gifts……My standard Poodle and his Huge Lab play mate both regularly chase after this toy, and they both tug and chew on it.They normally destroy soft toys, or at least pull out the stuffing…in one sitting.The Kong toys …truly are ‘worth their weight in gold’….the haven’t even made a small hole in them..and we’ve hade them for weeks! …..and they like to do that and pull the stuffing out….allover the carpet! (And the lab will sometimes eat it!). And Amazon keeps A good stock.Jc.

Kong has the best of the best products but this one was a bit disappointing. The seam on the belly it appears the "sewing machine" ran out of thread and no one noticed. It wasn't 2 minutes and the belly was half way open and I could easily tell the needle had went through the material but there was only 1/3 of the thread that should have been present. Luckily I never allow my four-legged babies to chew their toys or play with them outside my supervision; so I noticed and was able to take it away until I could sew it up. It's now been sewn up for just over a month and still holding together well. I gave it 4 stars because I know how well these products hold up to my Pit Bulls that can tear up any other toy in an hour. These will last months and months; even longer if I do minor repairs and replace squeakers inside. With the problem of the toy not being adequately manufactured, I just couldn't give that 5th star.

I buy this on a regular basis for my daughter’s Pug. He absolutely loves this monkey and is seldom ever without it taking it with him wherever he goes. Of course it doesn’t last forever and I replace it when it starts falling apart or gets too smelly. He doesn’t seem at all bothered about giving up the old one when a new one arrives. So long as it’s a Funky Monkey he really doesn’t care.

As far as indestructible do cuddly toys go this one fits the bill. Although 'Mr Spunky Monkey' has been sewed up more than once, and been in the wash countless times. He's still in tact all be it minus a tail. The minimal stuffing and no choking hazard parts he's my labrador puppys favourite playtime pal

This was a present for my dog. He loves it so much its the best toy I've had for a while. Its soft body is not hard on the mouth when chewing and the squeak is nice sounding and not annoying.

this toy has amused our little frenchie for hours. the quality and material is of superior quality. the price was good and delivery took just over two weeks. the toys are robust and hope he doesn't destroy these toys like his others.

No good for a King Charles Spaniel.
