Roots
Works well, easy to apply and gets it rooted quick, usually under 12 days. Better value than gels, in my opinion. Enough to last you through many, many cuttings. Recommend.

Worked better on dragonfruit than any product I’ve previously used
Used this Hormex #8 to root a heap of dragon fruit cuttings and had significant root growth on 27 out of 30 cutting in 2 weeks. Without rooting hormone I’d be lucky to get this amount of growth in 8 weeks. Got recommended Hormex #8 by a large scale dragonfruit grower and I’ll say he wasn’t wrong. Thought I’d give this a try on some Hoya cuttings that also generally take a while to root and I had roots pushing through in 3-5 days which was way above and beyond my wildest expectations. East to use, extremely happy with the results. Big fan of this #8. Rarely give 5 star reviews but I truly believe this product deserves the highest rating possible. Blew away my expectations by a lot based on my decades of experience with other rooting hormone products. My grading scale My ratings are based on one or more of the following characteristics. Please note I consider 4 stars a very high rating. * 1 Star - unsatisfactory - poor quality - misleading or false ad copy - would not recommend to anyone * 2 Stars - below expectations, needs improvement - inferior materials And/Or design - poor value * 3 Stars - meets reasonable expectations of quality, design and durability at the price point * 4 Stars - Exceeded expectation - above average performance of materials, design and craftsmanship - good value - would recommend * Five stars - Truly outstanding - exceptional quality and design - exceeded all expectations of materials, design, craftsmanship, durability and value. Would recommend without any reservations 5 point rating scale: * 1 - Unsatisfactory * 2 - Needs improvement * 3 - Meets expectations * 4 - Exceeds expectations * 5 - Truly outstanding

Rooting solution
I bought thinking it would work for me. So far I used it for geranium but it did not work. Ill keep trying with sturdy woody plant. Possibly I did not use it correctly. Arrived on time. It was average price and if it works for future items I will be happy.

Grow baby grow.
This has worked amazingly. I have rooted Plumbagos, Buganvilias, Bleeding Hearts, Hibiscus, and Crepe Myrtles. I have some Hibiscus and Croatans I am trying out now. So far so good.

This seems to be doing its job so far. It's my first time using rooting powder but this one was the most recommended and I have high hopes.

Not impressed!
So far I am not impressed. I tried to clone 9 shoots from a Lilac and all have failed (died). I cloned 4 chokecherry shoots and 3 appear they are going to survive. Now all 13 shoots were handled in the exact same way, planted in a mix of seed starter & sand. Same soil, same light and watering conditions, yet all of the Lilac’s died?? I will up date my rating after I have tried 3 more Lilac shoots.

It's miracle powder! I couldn't believe it!
This stuff really works, and works really great! My dad used to use this stuff and I thought he had lost his mind when he showed it to me. I could never remember if it worked or not, and he's no longer with us so I wanted to try it out when I came across it on here. Well I'll be go to hell if it doesn't work Jack!! Really incredible how you can cut off a part of a plant and have it growing roots in no time! By the way, get the B1 hormone complex to go with it, treat the mother plant a week in advance and it'll work even better. I can only assume that treating the mother plant preps the new growth with a good base stem ready to soak up some good water. I've learned it's best to do this little project in early spring after your new growth reaches at least three or four inches. Any less and it won't work. Only cut healthy NEW growth from the mother plant. These are all the lighter colored stems and leaves growing around the outside of the mother plant. You can't miss them. Keep the soil moist until you start seeing movement from your stem. Don't flood it, and don't go getting all antsy and impatient, pulling it up to see if it has roots! If you're looking at a happy green stem after a week, she's got roots growing in. Leave it be! If you're wilting over after a week, pull back and regroup. Something is off. Your soil! Too much of something or not enough of another! Once you learn what works, you'll be trying to transplant the entire garden! It's fun and gets you out of the house, if nothing else! Plants aren't cheap either! If you can double or triple your investments then I'd say that was a winner winner chicken dinner! The misses always likes hearing about money saving projects. Until you ask for help! Cheers guys and gals!

Doesn't work?
Everything I have tested this product on just isn't working, I had tested on to 7+ different species of hardwood trees & it only seems to cause the scions to wilt over with dried leaves within less than 7 days. I guess I will update my review if any of these start sprouting roots.
