Knauss Creamed Chipped Beef (3 pack, 10oz. Each)

Delicious ! Sent me back 65 years to when I was ten years old at breakfast. This is top top quality. You get what you pay for - definitely worth the price.

I got nostalgic for SOS from my Navy days. After making it from scratch using Hormel dried beef, the salt level was unacceptable. I found the Knauss product already made with half/third of the salt. It is very high quality. Very creamy. Much better than I can make from scratch. I used one packet and I will save the other two for a future craving or future disaster.

Great for having on toast one serving per package.

Overall, the taste is good - if a bit bland - fresh pepper helps. The ONLY problem I have with this is the packaging says "2 1/2 servings per pack" ... welllllllll, MAYBE - if you serve it as a "side". But if you use this as the MAIN DISH, there is really only ONE serving per bag. A BIT too expensive for my liking.

Takes too long to get but worth the wait. Very tasty and convenient. Little expensive in todays economy.

The nice thing is when they designed the packet you can open it stand it up in the microwave and heat it for 90 seconds and you can pour it right over your toaster or biscuits. They did a real good job with this very yummy.

For the price, I expected much more. The cream was fine but the chipped beef was far too little. Will not buy again.

The ship time may look extreme, but once Knauss knows you have a real interest in their product, and they will assume this from the first order, they will process your order ASAP. If you’re not a Creamed Chip Beef wanna-be you’ll recognize immediately a meal prepared to the highest restaurant standards and not only worthy of the cost, but impossible to find prepared with ingredients and craftsmanship at this level. The microwave pouch works extremely well and, as impossible as it sounds, you can prepare a five star meal in minutes.
