Very good quality
Seems to be high quality. Ease of installation will depend on the RV you install it on. Our 2021 Coachmen Freelander 29KB was not really designed for an installed step so I had to do some improvising. The battery box interfered with one of the step arms and required cutting a clearance slot as in the picture. I suggest they add measurements for that part to the ad copy. Also I had to add a piece of angle iron to the RV to provide a rear mounting location. Once on, the step operated very smoothly and feels very solid underfoot. The control switch is very intuitive and feels well built. Again, as our RV was not intended to have a step, it was challenging to locate and install the switch but anyone mechanically handy should have little trouble figuring how to mount the step and switch. The instructions only mention that current draw is 18 amps max so I added a 25 amp fuse to the +12 power line. It would be nice if they added a fuse holder to the wiring harness but that's an easy addition during the install. Please excuse the lack of lock washers on bolts in the photos. The hardware package does include them but the photos were taken while I was still adjusting all the parts. It's all complete now!

The switch the whole damn thing needs to be returned and redesigned
First the polarity is reversedSecond It has a switch that kills the operation once the step retracts "wonderful"but it is wired wrong and wont let step work since it controls movementthere is no mention of this switch in instructionsIt is a bear to install without a liftI removed the wires from the switch and connected the wires seperatelySo i am using the switch for a light which will tell me if unit is down so i dont drive off and lose another step

Bang for your Bucks!
Such an awesome Step ! Saved me so much money! Was going to put a $800 step but decided to go with this. Install took us about 2 hrs since we had to remove the older step. Went on one long trip, worked like charm no issues what so ever! will be getting these from now on for all our rv's

Came pre wired just connect power to battery
I installed this as a step on a golf cart for some older family members who come and visit us at our campground. It seems they have climate the guess work for wiring. When you install this make sure you keep the mounting rails parallel or you will cause a bind that will shorten the motors life or cause it to get stuck. Take time to install it correctly and I believe this will last a long time. Very well built unit!

Second one is doing the same thing.
It’s been since November that I installed this unit. At first it wouldn’t work, had to pull on the steps to get it to work. Every once in a while it would not go back up, lubes all the pivots and now it won’t go up or down unless I push or pull on the steps. I hope the manufacturer sees this post and can help me to replace it.I ordered another one thinking it might be better. Now the second one ours doing the same thing. I have diagnosed it as a bad switch. I don’t know how to get a hold of the manufacturer. If the seller can see this please help.
