Right out of the package, the fabric did not feel like 100% cotton. It was rather stiff and harsh, but a simple burn test on a piece snipped from one of the tie closures proved that it contained no synthetic material. And after washing and partial machine drying, it softened considerably. There must have been some heavy sizing applied. The garment is large enough that a bit of shrinkage is okay, unlike one of similar design, sold for women, that I returned because it could not close even before washing.

Material is OK there is no belt. It ties on two sides underneath the front which is more like a hospital gown in a row. Would not purchase again.

Wish it had deep sleeves, the material is a bit rough, the pattern will rub off eventually.Very happy with the two tie spots.For $20 it is well worth it.

The quality was okay but the size / description was not great.

This robe is unique in appearance, and my son loves it! It is light weight and comfortable. I know longer find my kid wrapped in a towel on his way to/from the bathroom screeching "Don't look!" He goes wherever he wants and no one gets an eyeful! And he feels very grown up and cool!

Very thin, which was why I wanted it. However, because it is so thin there is no second layer. You can feel the designs from the leaves on the garment when you wear it, which can be an issue to someone even slightly irritated by rough textures on their skin. Good option to replace a heavy terry robe for summer. Light and soft, Yukata style, tie-up on the side. Some issue is that by the fit, it is not even really a US medium, but barely Small. Due to the style, it will not feel tight even for L, you will just see it short, well above the knees, barely covering elbows. Purchase 2 sizes larger than you wear. No hanging loop.
