Great two-sided mat for a Lego-obsessed kid
Got this for my 7-year-old son and it has been a solid addition to his building brick setup. The feature that won me over as a parent is the double-sided design: one side is sized for standard bricks, the other for larger bricks, so the mat adapts as his collection grows and doesn't become obsolete when he mixes sets. The silicone construction is noticeably more practical than a rigid baseplate. It rolls up for storage or travel, doesn't crack if it gets knocked off a table, and wipes clean easily. For a kid this age who drags his projects everywhere, that flexibility matters a lot. One fair note: the silicone surface has a slightly different feel than a hard plastic plate, so very heavy builds may need a flat, hard surface underneath the mat to keep everything stable. For everyday building sessions that's been a non-issue for us, but worth keeping in mind if your kid builds tall structures and moves them around. Overall a well-thought-out product. The two-sided compatibility is genuinely useful, and my son has had zero complaints.

Best gift EVER!
This item came in a damaged plastic tube and was VERY difficult to remove from the container; however, my 10-yr old Lego-maniac declared it was the "BEST GIFT EVER!" It's very flexible but still thick enough to lay on most surfaces with just enough tackiness to stay put! And the 2-sidedness is perfect for when my younger son is ready for his Duplos

Rollable brick mat
Superb quality and portability. It appears as if it will be durable but only time with a hard-playing 7 yr old will tell. 3 stars for value only because it is pricey for what it is - a 10 cent sheet of silicone - but it was the only one of its kind and size we could find. This was the only factor that attributed to 4-star (rather than 5) overall rating.

Easy clean up
Makes block clean up easier. Grandkids use their mats regularly.

Cute and functional
So far we have only used this for Duplo, but it works really well and my three-year-old is completely capable of getting the blocks on. We are not dealing with toddler tantrum's trying to play with the mat, which is a huge win. I like that it rolls up and can be stored easily versus a full Lego/Duplo table. It is pricey, but I expect that the quality will allow for years of use.

Great idea ... But It Doesn't Function! (Don't Buy It!)
I read the bad reviews for this product but figured, "how could a company selling a lego mat get it wrong?" Well they did. The rubber mat is too soft to work with the hard lego bricks. As you push the bricks down, the mat 'squirms' underneath and looses it shape causing the bricks not to lock. Great idea ... bad material choice and non-functioning final product. Seriously, don't waste your money. (Written as I hear my 7 year old is screaming, "Why isn't this working?!")

Best thing ever
This thing is amazing. It’s thick and feels durable. Favorite part is it’s reversible for duplo or Lego, and it also works as a plate for Megablox which was a bonus because we have a crap ton of those It’s also easy to store because it rolls up You could potentially cut it if you have to for 2 kids to play with or it could just be one long play area. Build a city or whatever. It’s long enough there’s plenty of space for 2 kids to work on

Legos don’t necessarily stick the best
We loved the concept of this idea because we have little builders at two different stages, the mega blocks legos and the traditional Legos, so this seemed great. However, we have found that it can be tricky to get the blocks to actually stick well to the mat itself, leaving some build vulnerable to getting knocked over or falling apart. On a positive note, it’s very easy to roll up and store.

4/5
4/5 for the mat, unless on a hard floor (wood, concrete etc) it doesn't seem to sit levelly and properly connect the lego with the mat. A hard plastic one would be better (for me anywho).

Good space saver but doesn't hold well
I liked the idea of a Duplo mat that could be rolled up since we are limited in space but the bricks have a hard time staying on the mat, even on a hard surface. The silicone doesn't hold the bricks as well as the rigid plastic mats. Guess it's a trade-off for the space saving but don't try to move any structure you build on the mat, it won't hold

Disappointed
The mat is a great idea , but the lego bricks don’t fit .

Two Stars
Duplo lego barely sticks to it.
