Even when I forced a larger card to format, the file names wouldn't show up in the menu. Save yourself the headache and stick to a high-quality 32GB microSD. After my partner and I each using it for a couple months, I can confidently say it works as intended, especially if you just stick to the reccomended kernels. I also love the USB adapter it came with, makes transferring files between SD cards so much easier than using an SD card adapter.The only other thing I have to suggest has nothing to do with the product itself, definitely user error. But someone else recommended using Twilightmenu+ in the reviews here, but I wouldn't suggest using it, personally. I tried it, cuz Ive used it with my modded DSi and 3DS before and it worked great, and I *sort of* got it working on the flashcart for awhile? But kept running into more and more issues and its just not worth it imo. Its great for a modded DSi/3DS, but for an R4 just use the Wood kernel. As soon as I switched over, all the issues I was having while using Twilightmenu+ stopped. Maybe it was just me? But no matter what I tried, nothing made it work right, and my partner's flashcart was having the same issues. But the instant I switched kernels, everything started working flawlessly. So, maybe its just user error and youd be able to make it work, but in my experience, just using the recommended Wood kernel was way less of a headache.

Easy to set up, arrived fast, and works perfectly for my Nintendo DS Lite

Super easy to setup. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Once I transferred the backups of my games to the SD card. I did have an issue finding how to load them but that's just my unfamiliarity with how a DS Lite works. I just changed the setting to boot a DS cartridge on startup and was met with a menu of all the games I put on there. Loads quickly and has not had a single issue. Definitely recommend.

The R4 worked exactly as expected. After some troubleshooting with Brandon, I had all my questions answered and the setup completed.

This has worked flawlessly so far. You just download the files from the provided website and it's plug and play. My Nintendo DS Lite works perfect with everything. I will mention that GBARunner is NOT completely compatible with every GBA game, and that is NOT this product's fault. DS games, however, run perfectly. I installed a 32 gb Onn microSD which is more than enough space for this. Definitely worth the money!

Plays Nintendo DS games flawlessly! Doesn't do so well with GBA or GB games though. And doesn't play 3DS games on a 3DS either. But loads up multiplayer Nintendo DS games and connects up with other games just like it was the real game. I've been having fun playing multiplayer games with my wife that required two cartridge to play. And we only ownd the one cartridge for years until I bought this. If you came here to buy something that will allow you to transfer pokemon from a GBA game to the Nintendo DS game, sadly it doesn't allow it to work, even with "Link with GBA" enabled. See pictures for more details.

This R4 card does not have a timebomb like other ones do. Make sure you get software for R4 cards that show as “Deep Labyrinth”.

Note, does not include the micro sd card. Besides that, easy 5 out of 5 stars, easy and simple to setup. Highly recommend if looking to relive the past.

It works very good and loads all my files on my DS Lite. The only thing stopping it from being 5 star is the usb adapter doesn’t plug in very good, but adapters don’t cost much and I didn’t really use it as I had a dongle.

So Far so good. I loaded Twilight on it, as suggested by others. Works well so far. I will put in my calendar to review in a year from now, just to see if the "no timebomb" is true.
