I bought this trial pack with the idea that the device would turn out to be as disappointing as nasal strips and magnets. This wasn’t the case. Both of those other (external) devices depend on sticking something to the nose after scrubbing the face to remove all the skin oils. The external devices then lose their grips and come off during the night since the nose creates its own oils. They also tend to rub on the inside of a CPAP mask, which defeats their purpose. This device has none of those problems since it is internal and held in place by friction. This device fits inside the nose and gently presses on the parts of the nostrils which impede air flow when the face is relaxed for sleep. Used with a CPAP it becomes doubly effective and I find that when I use it I don’t fight the mask as much when asleep. Despite sometimes moving around a little it doesn’t come out in the night and it is not at all uncomfortable to me. I’ve found both sizes, both small and medium to work about equally, with the small being a bit more secure in placement and the medium pushing outwardly a bit better. It is easy to clean with soap and water and doesn’t retain significant odors. There are no adhesives involved since it is held in place by friction. There is a tiny carrying case, which appears designed to hold the medium device but will hold both if needed. My initial resistance to buying it was due to my understanding that the nasal septum is very sensitive, however once I tried it I found that it doesn’t put pressure on the sensitive cartilage. Looking in the mirror it does resemble a septal ring, but that is only superficial, not functional resemblance. I suppose that some of the people who don’t like it may have thick septal cartilage, widely deviated septums or septums inflamed by piercings, but none of those conditions apply to me.

I had high hopes that this would help reduce my snoring, but unfortunately my experience has been disappointing. Every night so far, the device has fallen out while I'm sleeping. I've tried both sizes with the same result. Now, after only 3 nights of use, I have significant irritation inside my nose and even woke up to blood on my pillow. Something doesn't seem right. I'm curious what material is being used to make this product because the symptoms feel more like a reaction to the material than simple friction. When I put it back in, I immediately experience a burning sensation. At this point, I can no longer use it due to the irritation. If you've experienced sensitivity to nasal devices or certain materials, you may want to proceed with caution.

These dilators work pretty well once you find the right size but that is definitely something that takes some trial and error. The trial pack is the right way to start. For me the fit was okay and breathing did feel a bit more open but they are not the most comfortable thing to sleep in. Probably better than nasal strips for some people depending on the specific issue.

This is one of the most comfortable nasal dilators I’ve used. However, it doesn’t work for my severely deviated septum. It works very well in one nostril but doesn’t dilate the other one at all. I think I would different sizes for each nostril. I gave it a good rating because I think it would work for a lot of people. It’s easy to clean.

Almost 1 star. The packaging and effort was there, the performance is mediocre, and the quality is terrible. I used this three times before it simply broke apart. I know these aren't made to last forever, but I wasn't even able to get a week's useage out of it. I only wore it while sleeping. The small one it comes with is child-size, so I could only use the bigger one. Not worth the limited useage in my opinion. It was a waste of time and money. I guess it was worth me finding out these don't work for me. I can save you the hard way - just don't buy these, move on to some other alternative. Bottom line is - they had a nice try, but need to seriously upgrade the durability.

UPDATE: Without the migraine I find it acceptable. Feels weird but not painful. It allows me to breath easily and it’s allowing my sinuses to drain. Because of this I’ve updated my 4 stars to a 5 🤓 So in short, if you want to use them during a migraine, I do not recommend them. If you have a deviated septum or sinus issues that cause chronic blockage, I 100% recommend them!!!! They are really soft and squishy but hold shape really well! —————— I both like it and don’t like it. I LOVE that it opens my nasal passage! Feels GREAT to be able to breathe. I don’t like the pressure pain I’m experiencing from them at the moment. This could be exasperated by the fact that I’m in the middle of a migraine. I had to take it out because the pressure pain outweighs my ability to breath properly through my nose! I’m hopeful I’ll be happy with them once the migraine eases!! I will be buying breath right strips to see if they are less painful during a migraine!

Larger one too big. Smaller one worked good first part of the night but at some point would move and be uncomfortable so I removed it.

Article vraiment efficace ! Dès la mise en place (facile), on sent plus de débit d'air, la respiration est améliorée, et les ronflements disparaissent ! Beaucoup de confort gagné pour le conjoint, et pour soi-même. Je sens que mon sommeil est de meilleure qualité, je me réveille moins fatigué, et je me souviens de mes rêves. Il y a vraiment un avant et un après. Certes, il faut s'habituer un peu au dispositif (ça chatouille un peu parfois), et il arrive qu'on le perde durant la nuit (si on se frotte sur un oreiller), ce n'est pas facile de le retrouver. J'aurais voulu mettre 4,5/5 pour ces raisons, mais c'est un tel confort que je préfère arrondir au supérieur ! Reste à voir combien de temps/combien de nuits il dure, mais je pense que quoi qu'il en soit je ré-achèterai !

Je peux désormais dormir la bouche fermée pour protéger mes dents de la sécheresse buccale et des problématiques liés à cet inconvénient. On ne sent pas ces écarteurs, une fois bien placés, donc on les oublie vite. J'ai un nez très étroit et des narines ultra fines, donc le small me convient parfaitement. J'étais septique mais l'air passe vraiment bien alors que mes narines se bouchaient tout le temps la nuit. Je recommande sérieusement !

Voor mij is de blauwe de goede maat. Dit is ook de kleinste. Omdat ik een chronisch verstopte neus heb deze gekocht. Het is wennen met inbrengen maar daarna heb ik eigenlijk niet meer in de gaten dat ik hem in heb. Het werkt goed en ik krijg hierdoor meer lucht
