I have little to no experience in welding but trying to learn as a hobbiest. I have the arccaptain mig200 and bought this Tig gun to try it out. For the most part, quality appears to be well made, even though it's China, and it works. The actual gun handle itself could use better material as it feels a little cheaper plastic but that's not to say it will fall apart or wear out quickly. For a hobbiest, I think it will last a while, although, this Tig gun looks the same as the non branded ones you can find for about $10-15 cheaper. My suggestion, at this price point, all the different brands out there are built from the same manufacturer and each company just brands it as there own to charge an extra $10-15. Don't be fooled by the marketing but I chose to go the se brand as my welder, that way if I have any issues with warrenty, they can't say that I used an aftermarket product 😂.. Overall, I am happy with the product given my 2 weeks of experience with welding!!

Very happy well built but it could use some directions

I'm just learning to TIG on a MIG welder with a lift TIG setting. The torch seems to be well constructed, the cable is long, flexible, though I can't hold the torch like the guy in the video - probably me. All the problems I'm having I can attribute to I don't know what I'm doing. If I can make the tungsten not stick to the steel, arc starts wonderfully every time! I have a feeling I'd do better with the next size up Tungsten - has nothing to do with the torch, the torch is great.

Really like my setup. Everything works as it should! Needs to add a little tungsten and a gauge to the package and then it’ll be complete.

this said it would work on my mig 125 welder and when I received this it was too big to connect to my welder, and now I'm not sure which one to order because they don't really give the dimensions where it plugs into the welder itself

I purchased a Primeweld Tig225x welder and needed a Tig torch. This torch by ARCCaptain worked flawlessly with my set up. And for the price, I couldn't resist. Now, I'm looking at getting ARCCaptain's 55PlasmaCutter, figuring that I am so happy with torch, one of their machines must be great too. :)
