Just be the blender was around $4 at the time that I bought it which was 3 months ago it had not peeled or even started deteriorating which is very at times when I do my makeup I do wish that it was softer of a beauty blender but it does advise what it does do. It is water changing and doesn't leave any patchiness or separation for my makeup wish I do you silicone and water products. Even when I have used this with different products it didn't make my makeup any different then I would have used with a brush. I highly recommend this for the value of the money and the fact that it does work it's just that I have more of a sensitive skin so it's not the best for me but is the better option for convenience. It has not broken me out or contained anything that could possibly break me out.
