Interesting read
Socrates: A Complete Biography by Arun K. Tiwari is one of a kind. It is not just a regular biography that shares the anecdotes from the life of the protagonist. Instead, the book aims to define his psychology and beliefs. Socrates was not only a person with scientific inclinations and theories, he also induced the same theories in the real-world analogies. The book starts with an article written by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, wherein he defines his experience in the prison cave where Socrates drank the poison. However, this reason is sufficient enough to read the book but not the only reason. This is followed by the quotes by Socrates. The writing style is lucid and the book is a quick read. The book gives direction to actions, knowledge on ethics and philosophy. A very good book that is a light read and informative.

Must read
"Socrates: A Complete Biography" promises a one-stop shop for understanding the enigmatic philosopher. It likely delves into his life in Athens, exploring the controversies that arose from his questioning methods. The core might be on his teachings, unpacking the Socratic Method and its emphasis on critical thinking and self-examination.However, a potential drawback is the lack of firsthand writings from Socrates. The book might need to address the challenge of reconciling accounts from Plato and Xenophon, who may offer different perspectives.Overall, this biography could be a valuable tool for anyone wanting to grasp Socrates' impact on Western philosophy. Ideally, a full review would mention the author and assess the book's readability for a general audience.
