As a rule, you should not need much after sun if you have protected yourself during the day. The summer was hot this year, but we managed to avoid many burns by wearing layers and lotion. On one or two occasions a strappy top or missed spot led to redness. 'Sun Bum Cool Down After Sun Lotion' was used to cool the area and bring out some of the heat.It is your standard after sun lotion, but a nicer smell. It worked to cool the area instantly and did help our child to sleep better that night. It is a premium for us but works well. I am not sure that it is much more effective than the cheaper, less nice smelling stuff that we would normally use. If you are someone who likes to pamper themselves, even when they have burnt themselves, then this is a good option.

The Sun Bum Cool Down After Sun lotion is a 237ml bottle of Premium After Sun that smells amazing and is incredibly effective compared to cheaper after sun lotions on the market. I was a little skeptical considering the price, let's be honest £16.79 for after sun sounds a little excessive however after using this lotion for the last 10 days after my Holiday in Spain I can honestly say I think it's worth the money!This is the first Sun Bum product that I have used and i'd definitely considering purchasing their products in future. The branding is simple and effective, the bottle is informative and really catches the eye. The lotion is aloe vera based with vitamin E and cocoa butter. It's highly absorbent and on my skin it lasted for hours, unlike other brands where i have felt the need to reapply quite quickly after initial use. The cream is quite thick with a gorgeous coconut scent however soaks in to the skin without minutes and doesn't leave a greasy texture like others i've tried. I got a little bit of sunburn on my shoulders whilst away and this lotion immediately cooled it down and helped recovery.I think it's worth paying a little extra for quality skin products such as this. Though some may be put off by the price, I personally think this is a premium product which is very effective. I'd highly recommend it and will be using it for the forseeable future.

This is a great after sun lotion for use in the summer. The aloe vera and cocoa butter make a lovely scent combination. A little of the cream goes a long way, it absorbs nicely and provides a good coverage. It doesn't feel oily or greasy at all.I have not had change to use after the sun just yet but i have applied as a moisturiser. It provides a cooling sensation. The lotion also has vitamin E included which is good for the skin. The lotion also has an added bonus of being vegan too!

This wasn't cheap and I expected it to be sealed, it wasn't full and have no guarantee it hasn't been used or something untoward has been put in, surely this is not how they are normally sold?
