Best metal clay book I have read so far. I would own fewer metal clay books if i had bought this one first. Lots of techniques and pictures.

I genuinely do not write reviews, however this book has been indispensable in starting my new hobby, it is also so easy to follow - I would recommend this as a point of reference to beginners and even those with experience.

Excellent book describing many metal clay techniques. Keep in mind that this is not a projects book - you won't find step-by-steps. You will find good information that will spark your creativity and desire to explore. I think it is a very good book for beginners since it answers a lot of questions about how to do things - forming, using the different types of clay, adding components, polishing, stone setting, creating bails, and incorporating glass, resins, polymer clay, enamels, etc. Coverage is basic, but clear and would be enough to get you started. This is an older book so some of the clay info is outdated, but that does not diminish the value of the book as a resource. The book I purchased was used, and it was in very good condition with no inside marks.
