Really great speaker for the money!
I bought this speaker to replace a fried Mackie drum wedge at the venue I work for. I have QSC K.10.2’s for the rest of my wedges and of course they are spectacular. There just wasn’t money to purchase another QSC so I had to look for other less expensive options. We have another Alto speaker, a 400 watt 10” powered speaker we occasionally use as a personal monitor or an extra main source in a dead part of the room that always has sounded great. I decided to go with the 12” 2500 watt Alto instead of the 10”. It sounds really good as a drum wedge and has more than enough power and range to feed it both kick drum and bass without it clipping or distorting. The DSP is simple but useful. Not using it but the Bluetooth works great. The only thing that I noticed about the speaker is that the enclosure feels a bit thin in a couple places and really vibrates at high volume levels. It is not creating any audible vibrations however, no rattles or unwanted sounds.its been in the venue for 2 weeks now and performing wonderfully. I’ll be checking in again at 6 months and a year. Now with all of this said it feels really good, vocals are hot and clear with no exaggerated frequencies or feedback tendancies. It’s not a QSC k.12.2 but it was definitely engineered well and offers a great sounding alternative without breaking the bank. The controls feel very solid. The speaker also looks like it should have a higher price tag. Great job ALTO!So after a month of nightly use in the club as a drum wedge receiving the full band with high levels of vocals, rhythm guitars, keys, bass and kick drum the speaker has surpassed expectations. It handles bass and kick drum with no problem at all and it is more than loud enough to be considered an option if you don’t want to spend the extra on JBL EON’s, or QSC k.12.2’s. When set flat they are nice and balanced and music over BT couldn’t sound much better. There are also DJ, Wedge, and a programmable EQ that is accessible through ALTO’s iOS app.

I got to tell you, THESE are a GAME CHANGER!
I originally was going to pickup the new Mackie Thumps but, the price point against quality is astronomical. There has been another type of speaker on my mind for over 2 years (this company), and recently they came out with this new line that blows Mackie speakers right out of the water when it comes to clarity of sounds, and low end. I set these up when they arrived. All I have to say is OMG! They sound just as good if not better than most speakers at this price point! The bass is hard, and clear! Plenty of power that does not rob your vehicle of space when transporting! The speakers are about 33 pounds each. 3 handles, beautiful construction, high quality! Perfect for DJ's and/or bands looking to pack a punch! I'm considering picking up the smaller ones as they are even pretty high powered for more compact setups! Move over JBL, Mackie, and QSC! Alto Professional donesn't play! Also, I know the price is a little high for them but, get the protective covers for them! You'll thank me later!

Still going strong after a lot of use
I know these are considered a lower brand speaker but Alto (inMusic) hit these speakers out of the park. They are great! They are loud and have some thump to them in the low end. I previously had the 10 inch version and I loved those, but I needed a little bit more for the size of weddings and events I was doing so I upgraded to the 12s and I haven’t been let down yet by them. Great product so far!

Seem well built so far but...
In my opinion the sound quality starts to fall apart after the volume gets up there. Not talking about clipping or what sounds like high value distortion, just the balance of sound quality. A lot also depends on the material you are pushing thru the speaker. The bass doesn't carry to the upper volume very well and the midrange become a bit muddy. So far I have only put music via Bluetooth thru them. Line level will hopefully be better. If you don't need really high volume they do fine. A sub would be helpful but I have no room for one in my application.I still like them for the purpose I bought them for. As long as they don't fail I will keep them.

Limit light on and no signal to speaker
Bought this speaker as it stated used but when arrived and I powered it up. The limit light was on and if I try to input any signal it there is no sound.
