Excellent locks!
Great set! Works well with my original Lishi KW1 tool and my traditional pick set from Covert Instruments. Itโs nice to be able to practice and try various picks from different vendors/manufacturers. I Didn't know much about Lockport as a hobby until very recently, as I am trying to break into the lucrative automotive locksmith scene.Btw, Very Fast shipping from AZ to SoCal. All items packed well and arrived complete and in proper working order.Btw, I hope to start a new career chapter as a self-employed auto/residential locksmith in my middle age and pre-retirement years! Been doing corporate IT work for over 25 years. Itโs satisfying to get into the skilled trades!Get this kit if youโre in the same spot as I am, or if youโre curious about the growing locksport hobby.

The best progressive set out there!
Excellent set to start learning lockpicking! The more open keyway of the KW1 allows one to get the feel of the pins without also dealing with navigating a narrower keyway. I love how nicely labelled each lock and key is making it easy to work up through the progression. I also like that these are a common size and can be placed inside a doorknob or lockset for a more realistic lockpicking experience.

AWESOME lock picking cylinders
GSR is a great company, I have ordered 3 different sets of practice locks all delivered in great working order... The great thing is that these are all re- keyable to make your own little practice locks, so these are great to get practicing re- keying locks. I started with the KW then the Sc and one day I will work up to the Hi Challange locks that I bought. Even the way they came packaged with helpful notes on how to use them tells me a lot about how much attention to detail they put into these products ... I can't say enough good things.

Good For Practicing Picking and Repinning
I've been using these for a few months to practice my lockpicking and repinning skills. They work well for these two areas and I would recommend them for anyone wanting to get better at these skill sets. Just a heads up though, locks 1 pin thru 3 pins are easy, lock with 4 pins is not bad, 5 pins takes a few minutes to get open. There are 3 locks with 6 pins, one with all plain top pins, one has spool pins and the last one has serrated pins. The 6 pin locks are very challenging to say the least and it will require a lot of time to get these picked.

good quality
Nicely done set of practice locks. I have the kwikset set, and quality is high enough that I'll come back and get the ones with the SC keyway. I'd buy this again if needed, but quality is good enough I doubt I'll ever wear them out.

Good set to learn from
Quality practice locks. I'm enjoying learning.

I wish I could see the pin through cut holes
The pin is carefully designed, the maker went with high low high pin patterns. Picking it is much more challenging than regular locks. I recommend start with 2 and 3 pin locks to get use to the patterns. The down side is there is no cut to check visual feedback from the pins. Practicing without visual feedback is less engaging.

Great Quality
I'm just a lockpicking hobbyist, but I love these practice locks. They're really well-built and offer a wide range of challenges. At first I could only get through the 3rd level, but now I can get through level 6. Still working on the last two levels.
