Versatile and amazing!!
Purchased this a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. The Ninja Foodi has quickly become one of my most-used kitchen appliances. It heats evenly, is easy to use, and the multiple cooking functions make it incredibly versatile. I’ve used it for slow cooking, sautéing, and one-pot meals, and everything turns out great. Cleanup is easy and it feels very well made. If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend it.

Great product!
Versatile and you can make a lot of different things, even sear and roast a chicken (there’s a separate rack to place at bottom for that)- easy clean up also!

Super Convenient and Worth Every Penny!
I use this PossibleCooker at least twice a week, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. It’s incredibly versatile and really does replace multiple pots and pans. I love how easy it is to switch between different cooking functions, and everything I’ve made comes out delicious. Cleanup is simple, and the size is perfect for family meals or meal prepping.only down side is there is no locking lid but that’s okay because this slow cooker works amazing and the pan in it is non stick it’s the easiest crock pot I’ve ever cleaned. It is extremely durable and will last a lifetime I’m sure. If you’re looking for something that saves time, space, and effort in the kitchen, this is definitely worth getting!

The new hero of our ninja kitchen
Ben Says: Another flawless victory for the Ninja clan — dinner never stood a chance. I love Ninja products, and this PossibleCooker Pro just reinforced why. I made chicken in it the first night, and it came out perfectly — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Setup was as simple as it gets: set it on the counter, plug it in, and start cooking. The controls are intuitive, the cleanup is easy, and it feels like it was made for busy people who still want great meals. If I had to nitpick, it’s definitely on the pricier side — but you get what you pay for. It feels premium and performs like it. I just wish a few add-ons, like the steaming rack, came included instead of being separate purchases. Still, it’s earned its place in our kitchen lineup. We’re officially a Ninja household, and this one might just be the MVP.

Ninja foodi crockpot
When the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 (MC1001) arrived on my counter, it instantly replaced three other appliances. This isn't just an upgrade from a standard slow cooker—it’s a revolutionary piece of equipment that truly earns the "PRO" in its name. It manages to combine the best parts of a Dutch oven, a traditional crockpot, and a high-performance burner into one elegant, non-stick vessel. What makes this model a kitchen hero? First, the 8.5-quart capacity and rectangular shape. This is a game-changer for anyone who cooks large meals, roasts, or racks of ribs. Unlike round slow cookers that force everything into a pile, the elongated shape accommodates a full chicken or a large pork shoulder perfectly, ensuring even cooking and better browning. Second, the "PossibleCooker" function is the most significant selling point. I can finally sear and sauté ingredients right in the pot before hitting the slow-cook button. No more dirtying a separate pan to brown the onions or sear the beef short ribs! This step, which is crucial for deep flavor development, is now seamless and contained. I build the entire flavor base for my stews, braises, and chilies in one go, locking in those savory Maillard reaction flavors before the slow simmer begins. Finally, the pot itself is a dream. It’s significantly lighter than the stoneware crocks of old, making it much easier to lift, serve from, and clean. The non-stick coating is robust, and everything—from sticky caramelizing sugars to burnt cheese—wipes away effortlessly. If you have a busy family, meal prep, or just appreciate appliances that make high-quality cooking simpler, the Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker PRO 8.5 is an absolute must-have. It’s an investment in efficiency and delicious, one-pot meals.

Updated Review, Taking This Down to 4 Stars
UPDATE - After using this crockpot for several months, I need to update this review to be honest. I'm taking a star off. Beware, the high setting puts the unit into a constant high boil, which I would not consider appropriate to a slow cooker, as I would never leave the house with this unit on high. Everything else I wrote in the original review remains true, and I use this a lot. But I had to end up buying a second crock pot for when I want to slow cook on a high setting. Since I wanted one unit that could do everything, that disappointed me. ORIGINAL REVIEW This cooker has exceeded my expectations. I just built a tiny house. It has a full kitchen, except code does not permit a stove. I spent a lot of time reading reviews of cooking appliances. A bit over 10 years ago I bought a searing Ninja slow cooker. It was okay, but took so long to saute/sear that I usually used a separate frying pan. Not so with this newer technology. It sears quickly and evenly. A great benefit when you don't have a stove top. And much better than using a plug-in burner and pan, due to its speed of getting to temperature and the eveness of cooking. I have used it for frying, slow cooking and braising. High on slow cooking gives you a nice rolling simmer. Low on slow cooking is truly low. I appreciate both. I have made rice in it following the instructions provided. And I use it to make pasta. All work perfectly. My only regret is I purchsed an electric skillet, which I totally don't need. This Ninja does it all. I suggest taking the time to read the instruction booklet. I would not have known to get it to temperature before adding food. It has a great little alarm that goes off to let you know when it is time to add the food. This was a great purchase!
