Great set similar to legos.
My 9-year Grandson loves this set, and it keeps him occupied for hours.

A lot of Small pieces
Mainly for display. Not suitable for small kids or much play as they fall apart easily. I would buy more if the trees were made from 1 or 2 pieces

Great building set!
The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice building set. This box comes with some really great pieces to set up a large jungle scene. There are two painted baseplate pieces that go together to make the base for the scene. As far as pieces go, there are a lot of pieces to use. Palm trees, bushes, flowers, plants and animals - all can be set up how you want it to look. This all makes a really neat scene to play with. My son was super excited to set this up and played with it for hours. What’s really nice is that this set is Lego compatible, my son set up a scene and then quickly brought in more pieces to play with. He spent well over an hour setting up everything and then played with the set for a long time afterward. He can’t wait to set it up again! Overall, this is a great building set. It has a lot of very nice pieces, animals, and plants and is a lot of fun to build with. I would definitely recommend this set!

Thumbs down!
The pieces do not snap to the base plate. Do not buy this product!

Creativity can run wild in the jungle
This was an interesting set to get: because there is no pre-defined structure or layout that you're building to so that imagination and creativity can be explored. The set we received didn't have any instructions, though other than the aligator and the bear assembly that didn't take too long to figure out, most items were pretty straight foward and pretty much left up to you to decide how to combine together. Though I do think an initial suggestion sheet might be nice for some people as a starting point. Also, our set didn't come with a dis-assembly tool. Thankfully we had a couple from other build sets.I like the fact the bear and the aligator had some articulation to them, this enhances the ability for play with the set after set up. I also like the fact this set was meant for play and not just for setting up and looking at. And that you had a lot of options for setting up. You can see that even after an initial set up, we still had lots more parts with which to add even more vegetation to our jungle, so for the price you definitely get quite a bit.

Great set allows for creativity!
This set is fantastic for creativity! It comes with instructions but not in a typical building bricks way. It just gives direction how things can go together but let’s you design from there. The big base plates have cool graphics and my kids love making zoos etc for even non building brick figures like the little plastic animals they have as well as paths for smaller doll figures, just so versatile. Very fun toy. One picture we posted shows regular big name brand building bricks and how they fit on the base plate perfectly and fit with the plant pieces but they can only attach to those on one side. One thing I wish would be improved is the packaging as the plain white box is underwhelming to open for kids. This is a great value for $29.99 for kids who are creative.

Meh… a little disappointed
Like many parents, I have a child aspiring to be a Brick Master one day. Our collection is expansive and expansive. To find a similar product that might be able to supplement the collection at a fraction of the price was appealing.I thought it was cute, the colors great, it seemed mostly well enough built, except the edges weren’t crisp like the popular alternative. My child humored me with the attempt to use these and was not impressed with the quality. Felt they didn’t fit together well, nor on the base plate with extensive effort causing him to hurt his fingers, he’s 12. He also didn’t feel they integrated with the name brand. Too tight on the one in the package, too lose on the known brand. As a whole not worth the money as the frustration will take away from any monitory savings.

Weird
So, I did enjoy the free-style nature of this kit. It was fun to build a jungle from scratch. But the set itself is weird. These are lego compatible pieces, but the selection is odd. You get a bunch of yellow flowers, a handful of red flowers, and exactly 1 blue flow. Why? who knows. You get a bunch of dark, medium, and light green grass and leaf, and bush blocks. But you get 2 brown bushes only, lol. It's just a really random lopsided assortment of pieces. My set was missing the brown/green cylinder pieces, so I could not properly build the tree-trunks, like shown in the picture. It also comes with two right angle bricks: one black and one white, with no explanation as to why.I strongly suspect the manufacturer just had a bunch of left over Lego foliage parts and threw them together in a set to offload bits & pieces.I'm fine with that because this is a cool way to boost your lego foliage selection. The best parts of this set are the base plates - they look awesome, and also the animals. Particular the bear & croc, but it's nice to get a dog/fox/crab/lobster, etc.The only animal that's a bit odd is the snake, because AFAIK it doesn't have any way to connection with Lego studs.Overall, this is an ... "interesting" ... set. I would have given it 4 stars, but it went down to 3 because mine was missing the tree-trunk bits like I said earlier.
