VERY BAD DESIGN Do not buy these if you plan to move while using them. The wire is so stiff with a textured surface, that any movement causes sound to travel up to the ear buds. You cannot jog, walk, or go to the gym. The constant noise is a deal-killer. It is hard to believe that no one at the seller even tried wearing them. Even a wind creates disturbing noise.Second. The ear buds stick straight out of your ear. This is a problem if you plan to wear ear protection over them. There is serious conflict. And since they are advertised with noise reduction capabilities, this may also be a deal killer for some.Third. And this may be on me. I guess I didn't play close enough attention. I was expecting"noise cancellation technology". But the noise reduction of these buds comes only from the foam plugs in your ear.

I am pleased with these earplug headphones. They are comfortable to wear for extended periods and they are very good at reducing the noise from my woodworking tools.The sound is quite good and the bass is better than I expected. The volume is limited for a reason; it's a safety feature to prevent you from damaging you hearing. If you want to have the volume really loud in your ear then you will not be happy with these. But they are so good at cancelling the noise that you just don't need the volume very high to hear your music, or whatever you listen to.Once you find the tip that you like, it's just a matter of learning how to properly put them your ear. There is a right and wrong way. The directions that are included explain the correct way to insert them to get the best noise reduction benefit.The noise cancelling mike does a good job of allowing a caller to hear you over the noise in your environment. But they will have some trouble hearing you if you are standing very close to a very loud machine. I would never take or make a call while I was operating one of my tools, but I wanted to see how much noise these could actually block. So I turned on my loudest tool and made a call. I stood at various distances from the tool to see how well I could be heard. I could not be heard while standing right next to the tool, but when I took a couple of steps back from the tool, I could be heard much better, and the tool could not be heard at all. So I believe you could carry on a normal conversation while mowing the grass.One additional tip: when you remove them from your ear, grasp the bottom of the foam plug. Otherwise you may cause it to be left in you ear. The tips are threaded but the insert that screws onto the post is only plastic.

I purchased these headphones a week ago. I was super excited to finally get ahold of some ISOtunes headphones.Upon first inspection, they looked great. Braided cord which is nice as it provides strength to the wiring and won't break easily. Lots of different styles and sizes of buds/plugs. (4 sizes of foam buds, 2 sizes of rubber plugs and 2 sizes of a different style rubber plug)I started out with the foam ear buds, as those provide the most noise cancelling. I tried 3 different sizes (sm/md/lg) and settled on the large. after the first day at work (8 hour shift, plugs in about 6 hours) my ears hurt from the plugs. Dropped down to the mediums the 2nd day and they still hurt. The smalls were too small to provide good noise cancellation. Stuck with the mediums. 3rd day, more pain. It has something to do with the hard tube that attaches to the earphone itself, it has a lip/flange on the end of the bud which digs into my ears.The 4th day of use, swapped to the rubber triple plug. MUCH BETTER!And then plastic shell for the ear phone broke :(I was pulling it out of my ear when I felt what I thought was the plug getting stuck in my ear. I pulled the rubber plug out carefully and saw the damage. The shell split and a piece chipped off.The other earphone also developed a crack in the same spot and looks to be the same 'chip' developing.I'm disappointed in the design and was hoping these would last after seeing all the rave reviews and all the praise on instagram in the welding community....I am hoping to get in touch with the seller so I can get a replacement.

After a few months use. They've started to fail like most other headphones. Where the chord connects to the jack has begun to short out or something. Audio cuts in and out if the cable isn't pinched at a certain angle. When I pinch it down it sounds great unfortunately, this isn't something thats going to work long term.Original Review.I go through headphones faster than most. I got these specifically for motorcycling. I commute daily and ride a lot when not commuting. I'm constantly buying crappy headphones because they always brake, fall out, sounds goes to shit after a month, the cables fray at the headphone connector. We'll I decided to go on a spree and get a set of 30 headphones. These things sound better than the in ear bose headphones I had. They come with about 8 different ear pads and inserts. I've only had them for a few days but so far they rock. Great sound quality, I don't feel like I'm busting my eardrums by blasting the music to loud. The ear foams do a great job of lowering unwanted db's and letting the small headphone direct the sound into your brains. Cord feels durable, I think I have various options for keeping the earphone in my ears while wearing a helmet. If you ride motorcycles a lot and need something to replace the other 8 sets of headphones you have grab these, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Good earbuds. Regular earbuds have never fit me properly .... they are always too loose and drop out quickly. But with the foam similar to foam earplugs, these earbuds for great and they DON'T fall out or even become loose. Absolutely worth the modest price. 👍(As for "noise cancelling" aspect of them .... I don't know...I still hear outside noises but they're effectively muffled. If there is noise cancelling technology in these earbuds, it's not apparent. They seem to be more "noise blocking" (like regular foam earplugs) than "noise cancelling".That said, I nonetheless happily recommend these earbuds - especially at the great low price! 👍

Whatever Safemax is, it appears to me to make no difference.My phone can still be turned to max volume with no effect whatsosever on the volume from the headset compared with a set of ordinary ear buds. Very disappointed. Either that or my phone is limited to below 85dB but the manufacturer Nokia does not state that and it warns me at about 75% that extended noise can be harmful.The external noise hearing protection of -29dB is probably due to having something actually in your ears and i would suggest any well fitted earbuds would work as well.Make of all this what you will.

Noise cancellation is great, sound quality is great. They are plenty loud enough to hear the music at a good volume but are limited to a safe level so I always have them on full volume which is not too loud, means I don't have to keep adjusting the volume.The second smallest size of plugs seemed to have a threaded hole that is just barely too small, so I was difficult to insert these but with a bit of persuasion they are in and they are not damaged in anyway so can't complain really just means they aren't going to accidentally come loose.

Not bad but not fantastic either.The (tiny)plastic cover that is over the ear speakers and inside the rubber ear lugs, is incredibly delicate and as others have mentioned break very easily.Mine have collapsed already. Good sound tho.Weather they will be any good when i ride my m/bike, is yet to be tested.

Overall quality is excellent.the vast array of ear piece fittings is great . The cable on this seems verry durable.the noise suppression is great its perfect for my work enviroment.The overall sound quality is fair, have a verry mid tone.doesnt have a good low bass or a good high pitch ,and to be fair its supposed to be a product that protects your hearing and is probable a good safe audible range for listening,the overall listening quality is sufficient.
