Smooth Pages for a Satisfying Writing Experience The paper quality is exceptional. The pages are smooth, almost inviting you to write on them. If you're a fan of gel pens like I am, you're in for a treat. The ink glides effortlessly across the page, making the writing experience not just satisfactory but downright enjoyable. No feathering, no bleed-through; just crisp, clean lines every time. One of my favorite features has to be the small pocket at the back. It's a simple addition that offers so much utility. I got myself the Black B5 journal for Christmas and it’s the most perfect journal I’ve seen. I’m very picky about my journals and this one checks all the boxes. It’s the perfect size. The cover is sturdy and the elastic band is a nice touch. The paper is a beautiful color and is so smooth along with the leather cover. I use a Pilot G-2 pen and it doesn’t bleed through. It lays completely flat. I think the money is definitely worth it considering how long this should last you - it has 312 pages. The quality is on point, everything is on point. Great Christmas gift for stationery nerds!

This journal is great! As a Leuchtturm user I have been kind of going through the alternatives just to see, and this is the closest so far to what I like in a book. I love the blue color. Similar to Leuchtturm, it has two bookmark ribbons, numbered pages, and a table of contents. Then to take it to the next level, it has more pages, a pen loop, and it comes with tab/page markers! My two MINOR cons with this is 1) the paper is still a little too thick/stiff for me, but it’s better than the paper in the Beechmore journal I reviewed earlier this year. I don’t use fountain pens though, so the softer Leuchtturm paper is still my favorite, but the thickness of the book overall and the fact that it still lays flat is great. And 2) even more minor, the vegan leather cover feels a little cheap to me, also stiff. I’m thinking however it will break in with regular use and feel a little more familiar. Also, the elastic band is pretty solid too- some books have a loose band which I can’t stand. Not the case here. All in all I do recommend this for others like me who are used to Leuchtturm but might want something a bit cheaper. This is the one!!

This journal is well made. The paper is opaque and smooth, for comfortable writing, using any type of pen or pencil. The pages are sewn together, and are easily opened flat to write on. In the front there is an area for contact information, in case the journal is accidentally left somewhere. The pages are numbered, and there is a table of contents. This journal is perfect for many uses, including writing, journaling, and record keeping. And, there are enough pages so that it can be enjoyed for a long time! There are several nice additional touches to this journal also. There is a stretchy strap to hold it closed. It has a pocket in the back, and a loop to hold your pen or pencil. Plus there are two ribbons and several sticky tabs to keep track of important locations. The journal has a professional quality to it that lends it to any Environment. It also would easily fit into a purse or briefcase, lunchbox or diaper bag.

Paper is perfect, thick, white, and smooth enough to look good with enough tooth that writing on it feels good. Lines on paper are solid instead of those dotted lines in ruled journals that have become so popular, which I hate so I love the solid gray lines in this journal. Table of contents is big, that’s perfect. Pages are numbered, that’s perfect. The only thing that isn’t perfect is the cover and binding. It’s really flimsy and feels very cheap, it’s a pretty bad cover. If it had a better cover and better binding, I would stock up on a lifetime supply of these journals because you just can’t get journals like this now. They all have dotted ruled lines, the paper is yellowish instead of white, and they’re either missing page numbers or a table of contents or both. You just can’t win. I bought another journal from this company that looks like it might have a better binding so fingers crossed it’s perfect!

This is the notebooks of all notebooks. A few others had commented on the paper thickness, but I find it a good weight with minimal pen writing showing through. The pages lag flat, and it is well made. I love the two bookmark tabs, the pen holder, and the band that keeps the book closed when not in use. I’ll def get this from now on.

Bought to replace my well-battered notebook. I like the way it folds open well, there is space in the back to note important items used frequently, the paper is smooth and ink writes well on it. The color stands out so I can easily find it among clutter of my bench.

I cannot believe I even found such a beautiful journal that meets all my expectations. I love to journal maybe even too much and I tend to buy a lot of notebooks since I am super picky and particular about the notebooks probably from slight OCD. Finding this journal was like hitting the jackpot, Its durable has lots of pages, can lay flat, has a closure elastic, has numbers on each page, has a pen holder, has a pocket in the back, has a "this book belongs to" page, has a contents page, a tester page for pens, and on top of all that it even came with tabs to divide sections of the book. I literally post an image of this journal to my Instagram every week like its a trophy. I don't even think I'll ever even think to buy from another store or website again, this book is everything I need, I even consider it the ''perfect'' journal. If you are on the fence, consider this review your sign to buy it, YOU WON'T REGRET IT. .Ps. If they stop selling this journal I will go into a week of mourning, it's that good.
