Installed these on a 2002 Civic EX coupe. Installation is tedious because of the car design, not because of the headlights. The grill and bumper skin must be removed to change the headlight assemblies. This is not difficult, just time consuming. Once everything is taken off, the headlights fit very well and installed with no problems.

The fit is good but the beam pattern is not so good. It could be the LEDs that I have but I think it’s the housings

I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX. The rubber boot that came off my original headlights that protects the H4 bulb does not fit correctly on these new headlight housings. It appears the bulb is not centered in the opening of the housing as it is on my original headlight housings. Also, the housing opening diameter is 3 1/8" and the OEM opening is 3 3/8". Trying to use the original boot, conflicts with the H4 wire connector to the point where the connector easily pops off the bulb or the bulb itself pops out of the housing because the boot doesn't fit correctly. The clamp that holds the H4 bulb in place is not as good as on the original housing either as it has only one spring clamp instead of two that hold pressure on the back of the H4 bulb. What's needed here is a different boot that allows the H4 bulb to be protected. In the pictures I uploaded, the housing with the yellow sticker is the original housing. Other than the boot issue, the housings look good but until I can figure out how to deal with the boot issue, I have not yet installed these housings. I have sent note to seller to see if a different boot is available. I have also learned that these housings are not federal DOT approved because they don't have the amber turn signals and reflector. They are for off-road or show use per the seller. I have requested a refund and I am returning these headlight housings.

Great product for a super cheap price. I used these on my 2002 civic ex. No special tools needed, just pop in the old light.

Completely same as brand new OEM lights... Nicely bright high beam performance as well
