Men's and women's cooling vest/cooling jacket safety vest/running lightweight vest/reflective vest/ice vest

This is kind of a two part review-one for the vest & one for the ice packs that come with it. The vest itself is fine. There's 8 pockets all together to fit the ice packs. There's adjustable buckles on the sides to make it size you want. If the straps are set to the largest setting, the straps can come undone from the buckle. Even at the largest setting I would say it still runs small. There's lots of mesh so the vest is breathable.The ice packs are very hard to fill. Water just pilled over instead of go in the ice pack. I had to stick scissors in it to keep it open & dribble water in otherwise it would overflow again if I tried to pour water in at a normal rate. There was barely any of the gel crystals in each pack. After it was frozen it just felt like frozen water not gel. There was two different sizes of gels packs; the smaller ones meant for the front pockets of the vest & the larger packs for the back pockets. It came with 10 large packs & 9 small packs so there's enough for replacements (I'm not sure if I was supposed to get 10 small packs since that's kind of an odd number to give).The set came came with an insulated bag that can be used to keep the ice packs cool & also can be used as a lunch bag. There was also little bubble wrap pockets to put the ice packs in as insulation to prevent ice burn or if the ice packs are too cold for you.Overall, the vest works great at keeping me cool when outside. I ended up using my own small ice packs instead of the ones that came with it. The vest is alright, the ice packs are terrible.

I really like this vest for it's cooling purpose, & it really works! It's lightweight, easily adjustable so that it fits close to your body, allowing the ice packs to really bring your core temperature down. I like the fact that the ice packs are reusable, even though they don't seem that way at first. I also like how easy it is to keep this vest cold, by storing the ice packs in the freezer, & the fact that they come with bubble wrap pouches to protect them.

We ordered some other cooling vest and it was a disaster. ( They leaked everywhere).They didn't fit my husband, so I found this one and there wasn't any directions but I mean if you read similar products you can figure it out just add water to packets and freeze. The problem with that is it can leak, so what we did was buy the ice cooling packs that you freeze n use. I would recommend that you do the same if you buy this product. It is really a blessing when your in 90 plus degree weather. My husband is a tall man and needed the 3 X and it fits him great. He brings 12 ice packs with in the cooler in the morning using 6 then another 6 in the afternoon keeping him cool for the day mostly. Just need to bring the cooler that comes with the vest. The only issue we had was the cooling packs, if they would included the kind that is already sealed that you throw in the freezer than I'd be more than happy to give it 5 stars. I definitely will buy the vest again.

I bought this vest to help me manage the summer heat. It works well enough, but the ice packs do not last "all day". I took it with me to a local amusement park, using the cooler bag that came with the vest, and within about 5ish hours all the ice packs within the bag (that is to say ALL of the ice packs) were thawed and warm rendering my use of the vest a moot investment. I have ice packs for ny lunch tote that last longer than the ones that come with this vest. Better ice packs, better insulation, and perhaps another row of pockets on the back of the vest up near the shoulders would make it perfect.

Save your money. I couldn’t return due to not having the original box. Complete waste of money.

Only received the vest. No ice packs. No cooler bag as someone mentioned in a previous review. Vest is not true to size. Order two sizes larger so if you are a medium build order an X-Large
