As the previous Bond movie and the others that follwed
As with the movies that followed the last excellent Bond movie, Goldfinger, if the main character had not been named James Bond there is, in my opinion, no way the future Bond films would have been so successful.. Time now to stop producing these spin offs. Maybe if they had stuck to the actual novels they might have been better

Good But Not Great
This was Sean Connery's fifth Bond film and is one of my least favourites of the entire series. Connery looks bored throughout most of the film and he also does not convince me that he could pass as Japanese. The film was entirely shot in Japan and has some lovely photography of the country, which just about saves it. The theme song by Nancy Sinatra is also very nice and a personal favourite of mine. The now iconic volcano set by Ken Adam is still a wonder to behold, even today and must have blown audiences' minds back in the 1960s. However, the film does have other faults, namely Donald Pleasance's unintentionally comical performance as Blofeld and the fact that the film does drag terribly in places and seems much longer than it actually is. The inclusion of the also iconic Little Nellie also seemed surplus to requirements and only featured in one scene. I regard this film as Connery's second worst Bond film of the EON series, before the mediocre Diamonds Are Forever. However, I give this film three stars, because it is enjoyable in parts, but far from an essential purchase. I don't think that Connery ever bettered Dr. No or From Russia With Love, which were his finest Bond films, in my opinion.

Excellent quality video
I got this as a replacement for a scratched DVD original from my collection. The video quality of the Blu-ray version is noticeably better, the sound is great but I can't comment on how much, I don't have a high quality speaker system. The menu and options have some additional features as well. Unsurprisingly, Postal delivery took a while, but that's the limit of my complaints. I'm happy with my purchase, and will check out this vendor again.

Seller excellent. Product Bad
This DVD cannot be played in North America. It's in PAL format but that information was left out of the product details. I give the Seller 5 stars because when I informed them of this, they said they would return my complete payment. I really appreciate that.
