Works with Android Auto
I've had a hard time finding a USB cable that's longer than 3 inches that actually works with Android Auto. I have tried several and most of them are not recognized even if they say they are compatible. This one works with Android Auto and the longer one is long enough I can put my phone in a vent mounted holder.

bought this to replace a faulty cable....fits and functions correctly on an andriod phone in a 2020 gmc sierra pickup

The Android Auto in my car was sporadic at best even when using the braided cables. Stopped in to see the auto product specialist and he recommend at try these. I got the coiled ones because I didn't want to deal with lots of extra wires. In hindsight, I should have gotten the longer wires because these are not be able to reach my current cell phone holder. I'm just happy have something to get the Android Auto back on track so I can stop getting lost on new trips! I recommend these but advise you to check and make sure they will stretch to your cell phone holder

Disregard the 3 Feet
The cord is exactly as described except for length. If you stretch it, the cord would extend to 3 feet as advertised. However, the coils are so tightly wound that there is no way you would want to connect to something 3 feet away. I set this up in my car and had a phone holder that was less than 2 feet from the outlet. If I stretched it to fit the holder, the plug would pull out of the outlet. My solution was to take the cord inside and stretch it to its maximum for several hours. It now works but it still pulls pretty hard on my phone 2 feet away. Otherwise, it works great.

Short Lived
It worked for a few monthsโlikely less than sixโthen the Android Auto connection to my 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring started consistently showing โNo Device Connected.โ

No Proper USB/Android Auto Connection
It does not work for Android Auto in a Civic. It attempts to connect, but does not go through. It only gives a slow charge. I bought this specifically for charging and USB connection for Android Auto (as it says in the description), so this was a waste of money.
