It has a unique taste and a little goes a long way. My wife does not like any heat in her food so I add only a teaspoon to a variety of other sauces I may use in a recipe. She said she likes the addition taste so far and did not complain of any heat. Used it with a chicken and vegetables with some hoisen sauce and with a BBQ pork and rice dish I made with scallions, mushrooms, pea pods and soy sauce. I also added it to a pork and cabbage dish.
